All classes from both factoins have engineers, but Defense classes have rocket/missile, gun, and cannon infantry. GDI Offense has the Commando, and NOD Offense hthe Cyborg Commando.
Offense has Tanks, Defense has tanks, infantry and buildings, and Support has planes and support powers.
whY i'm mean the crawler could be a unit that is a mobile building in solo missions but why take away the base building and resource gathering. can it at least gather tiberium and at least keep resource gathering ? but nooooooo it had to ruined it

Usually when someone hate the video it's because they are incapable of understanding how good it is, but in this case, the more one hates this video, the more it would show how fucked up this C&C 4 is.
i find generals is also quite good but it had so many overpowered and underpowerd balances, like flashbang, toxin networks, pathfinders, scorpion rockets. dragon tanks were to weak, had to short range, and it was slow. chinese rocket soldiers were slower then your rifleman which allowed you riflemand to get run over by tanks before the tankhunters gor them, etc etc.

Ignoring the consumers who buy their products, now that is what I call stupidity. And I thought these guys are college graduates in game business. I read somewhere, that this game was supposed to be a multiplayer add-on for Command and Conquer 3. Like a mod. But than the EA people got greedy and decided to ship it as Command and Conquer 4. Funny. In every store, Command and Conquer 3 costs more money than Command and Conquer 4. They should have sold it as downloadable content.

@SubzeroedMind Agreed. I played the EA CnCs first and you really can't compare Red Alert 3 to the first two. It lacks the intensity and foreboding/Cold War atmosphere of the first, and depth and "fun as fuck"-ness of the second. The unit models take a lot of getting use to, and the way women are paraded around like Barbie dolls with sniper rifles was not impressive.
The only RA3 it did really well was music and unit voiceovers, and those are not things that can pull the rest of the game.

I miss the defense from this game....I mean in C&C 3 with NOD I had a lot of Obelsiks of Light, with GDI lot of mammoths - assigned 1 rig to 3 tanks. Defensive line up, now build attack force and enjoy the ride. <--- all of this is now GONE

This is the future of PC gaming where they control how and what you play.
You have to be on their servers constantly and have an ISP look at blizzard EA Microsoft that is what they want, total control, don't buy any more of their games. Don't forgive them ever, stop buying games for windows and get rid of the xbox stop playing wow andstarcraft 2 don't buy a single one of their products again. Starve them look for smaller developers to invest your interests in. It can work they're not invincible.

I read somewhere, that this game was supposed to be a multiplayer add-on for Command and Conquer 3. Like a mod. But than the EA people got greedy and decided to ship it as Command and Conquer 4. Funny. In every store, Command and Conquer 3 costs more money than Command and Conquer 4. They should have sold it as downloadable content.

Anybody else seeing how the 3d artists aren't very enthusiastice and seem to have a begrudingly tone when explaining what they are doing and they always say "I HAVE to..." Like theyre trying to convey the message, "This wasnt my idea." They messed up with the game so badly... It's a pity what it could of been.

EA has made, out of a brilliant game such as Tiberian Sun (I grew up with it), a mix between Transformers and Pokemon.

@SubzeroedMind Agreed. I played the EA CnCs first and you really can't compare Red Alert 3 to the first two. It lacks the intensity and foreboding/Cold War atmosphere of the first, and depth and "fun as fuck"-ness of the second. The unit models take a lot of getting use to, and the way women are paraded around like Barbie dolls with sniper rifles was not impressive.
The only RA3 it did really well was music and unit voiceovers, and those are not things that can pull the rest of the game.

TIberian Sun is much better than C&C4, but C&C4, is fun, too. It's a good multiplayer-game, and I'm not an EA-Fanboy. Not everyone who doesn't hate C&C4 is an EA-Fanboy. I'm just not some frustrated hero-worshipper like you.

I miss the defense from this game....I mean in C&C 3 with NOD I had a lot of Obelsiks of Light, with GDI lot of mammoths - assigned 1 rig to 3 tanks. Defensive line up, now build attack force and enjoy the ride. <--- all of this is now GONE
