Thanks for that good tip (sort of confirms what I already know). I still don't see how you'd know if rocks were beneath your landing, but then again, it sounds like you already knew the waterfall. Still, risky... but, you made it! Excellent! I've got to double check here to make sure I had hit the favorite button. By the way, a great book to read is Mark Twain's Life on the Mississippi. You might be amazed, as I was, of the great details he puts into the reading of a river. A+ book.
@LincGD Good to hear it. I continue to be stoked by your latest video. I'm happy to see it on the top pole position on my favorites list. Great ending, too, with the jolly cool music.
That's an awesome video Linc! Truly. Favorited. (How do you know when there are rocks close to the surface or not? Was this already a known aspect by locals or other sportsman?)
@actionadventures This water fall I already knew very well so I was quite sure of no rocks but there are ways to read and run a river up to grade 3. One good way to teach your self is to look up a stretch of river doing this you will find it very easy to spot the rocks in the rapid. Then look down the same stretch to see what features these rocks make. Now you have a bit of n idea on what to avoid. After this you may never look at a river the same again always looking for the way down.
Thinking about it LOL....whoaaaa that was awesome...can't beieve your like vertical, then skim off the bottom. That was awsome! Man its such a narrow hole in the landscape, that is amazing...looks cold too haha : D

Hey Linc! Since this video is still in my #1 favorite spot, I noticed the fast climb to the 1000 mark. Good job!
