You should take some medications recommended from obstetricians/gynecologists before you give birth. Not only does it make it easier for your laborious childbirth, but it also gives a higher possibility of a healthy baby.

But congratulations on giving birth to a healthy baby boy(i think he'll grow up to be good-looking o///o) without medications! May God bless you and your baby! :D

@1721nate Thanks you and congratulations! My labor was induced, so the doctor actually had to break my water for me. However, labor varies from woman to woman, I believe the doctor did tell me most first time mothers who go into labor will be in labor on average anywhere between 12-24 hours. And yes, he was my first child.

My doctor advised that I lay on my side with a pillow between my legs...of course I took his it advice and added TONS of pillows surrounding me for comfort each night, it did wonders! Well, when I was in labor the labor pains were VERY painful. But after I had the epidural the pain magically disappeared!

Of course hours after the epidural wore off I was in pain healing from the minor tear my son caused, but meds were given to me to help.
