When i google it, the deep wounds was already in place the 4th, making this upload that i've got on wow meter online being after DW double dip nerf.

As of now, fury is still the dominating spec of those. Arms was prefered in the beginning of Ulduar.

because of the recent fury nerf, arms now does as much dps as fury in one crit, as fury crits with both weapons. the nerf basically ruined every advantage for a fury warrior because they don't have as many special abilities as arms, and with the right gear arms and fury are tied. so now we can all go prot.

because when this video was made patchwerk would hit whoever had the most hp with a hateful strike, if you were melee and had the highest hp under the 2nd in threat he would hateful the next person as to not kill the tank its the reason you would do 4-5 tanks in 40man naxx

@666skatejunkie666 - Not really. It really depends upon the player. Personally I believe I put out more damage as arms, but ofcourse that requries the 263 hit rating, 20+ exp and 60+ arp, and still having alot of AP. However, alot of warriors go fury, and its because its fits they're style the best, so I think its based upon style and likely.

Putting this into prespective, it would be much more impessive to see your numbers with no buffs on a target dummy. (you have 4 rows of buffs here) Don't get me wrong, great video thanks for posting it.

What's the point of knowing the numbers on dummies?

The types of buffs and the amount of them varies depending on the size of group you are in and what classes are present. DPS is measured by the base line and inorder to establish a base line you hit the raid dummy unbuffed.

those "good" ones either fit in to a gearing situation that happens in like 2% of warriors (if that) or they are just plain stupid.

if they have a runestone or a grim toll and have between 45-47% ArP after gemming for it then they are fine, untill of course they pass that threshold and then start wasting sockets as STR better after that point.

if not, then like I said. they are dumb.

Patch attacks the person with the most health around him, thats why melee dps need to keep their health under full just to be sure he wont attack them.

I do it out of habit because of how the old hateful strike mechanic worked back in naxx40, which was based off of who in melee range had the highest current HP excluding the person with agro. how hateful strikes are purely threat based so slime dipping is no longer needed.

1) I'm using the in game recording system because I'm on a mac

2) If you were observant you would easily be able to notice the frequency of my white damage, which is way to fast for arms.

given the right cooldowns and enough RNG luck (read crits) it really isn't all that hard to hit 9k instantaneous DPS. also the power of the realtime graph (in my opinion) is not your max instantaneous DPS it's about trying to make the slope of the line be either horizontal (sustained DPS) or as steep of a slope as possible (increasing DPS)

The 9k DPS is BURST DPS, which isn't equvilent to "standard" DPS... Burst DPS is mainly due when you get like 4-5 crits in a row, but the 5.9k DPS is his average throughout the fight... good spotting though mate! ;)
