Sorry Tim as far as "shitty third world" - you realise here the average Australian is better educated, has a higher salary and is healthier (thanks to a health system which unlike the American one - does not belong in the middle ages). Of the 244 US pilots who flew at the battle of britain with Eagle Squadron, 50% were wounded or killed, for such supposedy 'quality' pilots thats quite extreme. Whats more, they may have been volunteers, but they were asked to fly but their superiors and turning down an offer like that would have been daft from their perspective.

I must say americans can be very ignorrant but im sure that there was some kind of selection process for what they showed on the show itself.

This is not really about stupidity though. The US is a large country that consumes mostly its own media. So knowledge of geography among a large portion of the population is low. Think about it. Low-income earners in the US don't travel outside the States and all the television and movies they watch are made by Americans, all the news they read is US-centric. Most other countries don't produce enough of their own media, so have to rely on foreign media.

Well, Australia consistently outperforms the USA in the United Nation's Human Development Index. In fact, we are #2 in the world. Yeah, we are a small country, but we are a successful one. I don't know why you had to go and be a jackass about it, seeing as I was trying to point out that Americans aren't really stupid, they just don't need any knowledge of world geography to live.

I don't have any problem with Australia, but it's obviously the Chasers and people like them who have problems with themselves, which is why they make these videos desperately trying to run down Americans...it's because they feel inferior to them and this is their childish way of trying to build up their ego.

If you aren't morons then why is your country worth nothing compared to the USA? Why do you not have to turn away millions of immigrants at your borders? And don't tell me it's because of your location, people came to the US across the ocean en masse.
The truth is, if you ask ANY group of average people about events across the world (NOT in their immediate geographical area, which in the US DOESN'T encompass 5 other countries), they don't know. The real idiots are the people who don't get that.

Mate, every country has it's own steroetype, but it sucks for that the one for US is ignorance, which is not helped by the fact that US is perhaps the most hated country in the world.
Besides, the Aus is vast, but it doesn't really have that much habitable area.
Thing is, the Chasers made fun out of themselves as much as everybody.
