The major complaint I have about the movie is how easily, Beowulf submits to Grendel's mother. You would think some one who is so close to being a "man-god" as you put it would be able to resist a nice body and some complements to his reputation. I understand that in someways this makes the character more interesting, but it is completely different from the original text. The whole idea of Grendel being Hrothgar's son and the Dragon being Beowulf's son is just ridiculous. Whats your input?

i actualy liked the changes,a ifter i saw beowulf and grendel i read the poem, one of the this i liked the most is tht the movie tried to include the three poems in the film, because in none of the other beowulf movies have shown him when he becomes a king or when he slains down the dragon. i know it wasnt like in the original poem.

another think i actualy loved from this, the movie show the true weacknes of the man in the moment he face temptation but how string is while persuit redeption

Fully agree with you on the Score. Alan Silvestri has established himself as an excellent action/adventure composer. This and Van Helsing both had really awesome soundtracks.
