Thanks for your response and no, I do not use other products with the Cantu Leave-In. I use it right from the jar as is. So, per your suggestion, I'll have to consider changing products. It's disappointing b/c I like it so much and it is a water-based product. Well, thanks Ms. V.... appreciate ya.

Wow, what a difference maintaining your hair the RIGHT way makes. It's looking great, Home Skillet. Ms. V, let me get your opinion, please. I'm sure you've heard of Cantu's Shea Butter leave-in conditioner. Well, I like it a lot. My hair is so soft and manageable when using it; however, do you have any suggestions for getting rid of the whiteness that does not seem to go away after air drying.  I always wind up rinsing it out and I don't want to do that. Please advise.

@intime723 Are you mixing or layering your cantu with other products? I have never used it before however I have heard that cantu doesnt really mix well with other products. So you may need to minimize the amout of products you use with it or find the ones that work well with it. =)

Shrinkage is so cool. I have been watching your videos for a while, and to be honest I've asked, "is her hair even growing?" Then I see this video and I'm like .... yeah it is! COOL! I think this is why we so often get discouraged because all our lovely growth is sometimes hidden in the kinks and coils. Good job on retaining length. My mini twists took almost 7 hours so more power to you for this yarn braid business. LOL

Wow, great growth!! Keep up the good work!! I honestly do not always pay attention to the full extent of my natural hair growth until I purposely length check my hair...just yesterday I had my mom assist me with a length check and I was like....WOW!! :))

I agree with renaissancesista. Have you tried hair growth supplements? Castor oil pre-treatments? Long-term protective styling? I'm sure there are a number of options you can try to increase hair growth but I wouldn't compare it to someone else's. That's a recipe for disaster, trust me lol.
