Yeah I noticed that too. Emma was prettier in the later seasons, but her stories and character were kinda less satisfying. Cassie on the other hand has gone through all the ups and downs of her character and is one of the most interesting people on the show. That's why I'm a little irritated that the oldest kids are mostly gettting dropped. If you notice the newer characters really act like them at times though. Well maybe they'll bring them back like the ones from the old Degrassi.

Yeah. Still I wanted to see where that went more, but it doesn't seem like we're getting much out of them for Emma's new problem. The new episodes are okay (suprising considering how long it's been running and shows usually go down the tubes after they've been running this long) but there's so much hype in the commercials and it doesn't always give you what you expect. The whole Declan/Holly J thing is moving just a little fast to me as well. It's still good, just lacks in development a bit.

Yeah, I know I have seen some episodes of the eighth season and they don't look good. I own seasons 1-6 already and I think season seven will be the last one I buy. The only saving grace of the eighth season, I hear Jake and Daniel will be back for the season finale. I think Season Eight will be Cassie and Miriam's last season and when they leave they take Degrassi TNG with them because most of the original cast is gone.
