Stalingrad was just an example, which should make people think about, instead dismissing critical observations, because that kind of specific close range conflict I was talked before can happen and will happen, and for this kind of conflict soldiers are not ready. The secret of a good sniping technique do not count in meters, but in proper angles and good cover. The USMC scout snipers instructors should change the metodology of sniping routines.
Does anyone know how is it possible for me to join the USMC Sniper Unit? I'm from Singapore. I'm 20, I'm small but fit. I'd love to be apart of the USMC. I'd go through all the training i need to, just to be deployed in a place like this.
@VamosFawkes You go through basic just like any other marine. You will have to demonstrate your skill there. You can enlist at your closest armed services recruitment center. If you are a registered U.S citizen, go ahead and enlist. good luck to you!

Becoming a good sniper requires years and years of target practice, perfect psychical and mental condition, intelligence, capacity to adapt fast to diff combat situations etc. You won'd be hired just because you seen a movie on youtube that you liked.
@bjohnblazkowicz I've been trained in the Singapore military as a sniper. Been there done that 7 days and 6 nights in a foxhole. Yes its tiring and mentally stressful. I've never missed a target in my life. Not to be cocky but i believe im one of the best shooters in this country.
