  • Why would you eat meat if you're wanting to lose weight...haha

  • @jjay75 There is nothing wrong with eating chicken. Losing weight is about moderation NOT restriction.

  • @fitcoach2007 haha - if you eliminate it you'll lose weight faster. Increase it and you lose weight slower or begin gaining body fat because there is nothing conjusive about consuming chicken and losing weight.

  • Lovely recipe made it for the family taste excellent ..thanks for sharing

  • @julliana2ify Glad you liked it.

  • My recipe may not be as healthy, but it is worth a try.

  • Do you use the same water in which you boil the water to do all the veggies or do you throw that away and use different water?

  • @anabob29 same water is ude for the soup that the chicken was cooked in.

  • This is not chicken soup !!!

  • chicken must has bones in order to get minerals

  • wow, looks amazing.

  • somehow I can open the ingredients below the arrow....

  • @danielismiracle Click the "show more" arrow and you will get the recipe ingredients.

  • lol im 14 and made it damn easyy! taste so good thughh

  • @s1ckshit65 great to hear it was easy for you to make.

  • That looked good. I'm going to try it with your seasonings.

  • Do you boil the water or simmer or is it ice cold or change temps the whole time etc? Is their an exact temp or does it matter all that much. I could go on and on. It just says "Cook chicken for 1 hour".

You may as well have put "Make chicken soup...The end"

  • @strakallah Simmer the chicken till the meat falls off easily.

  • What is with the softcore porn music?

  • Thank you so much! I made chicken soup right for the first time! Wish I watched your video sooner. Your super helpful!

  • @yomastersunshine Glad you liked my chicken soup recipe. :)

  • Yum that really looks great and i just started my healthy way of eating today so thanks for this encourging tasty recipe. im going to try it and let you know how it turned out. Thanks

  • @MsPRAYERWARRIOR1 Let me know what you think about the recipe.

  • love the soup, hate the music

  • Hi I noticed that you also added some spices to the soup at some point but it doesn't say what, nor you mention it? what is it? and is it possible to add the more tender vegetables such as the tomatoes at the end so they don't practically reduce to nothing or become sluggish or flavorless??

  • @ultravioletspirit if you click under the video, you will see the whole recipe.

  • Looks awesome! =). Just a pointer for improvement - it'd be nice to have you talk through what you're doing when you're actually cooking. =). But good nonetheless.

  • @AngieChi03 Thanks for the compliment. I try focusing on the food and not me. If I talked the videos would be too long. That is why I do them this way.

  • I cook the veggies in the broth until they soften and then add the chicken. To me, the chicken gets dry, even with boiling, when I soft cook the veggies with the chicken in the broth. I also use extra wide egg noddles (can go with yokeless ones) instead of potatoes. Good recipe and my kids like yours too.

  • @BravesFanSince72 Glad to hear the kids like it, that says allot. Thanks for the comment. Chef Juan

  • i love to cook chicken soup

  • @utami20 enjoy! :)

  • Is that the same water the chicken boiled in? or fresh broth from a box...which would be healthier?

  • @buffalogal37 I use the same water since all the natural flavors of the chicken are in it.

  • 5-6 lbs. whole chicken, (skin removed) 4 carrots, chopped 6 celery stocks, chopped 1 large yellow onion, chopped 1-15 oz.can diced tomatoes 1-15 oz.can tomato sauce 4 medium Yukon gold potatoes, cut into bite size dash hot sauce salt & pepper to taste

  • Excellent. How do you shred a chicken?

  • @Metsada007 by hand

  • minus the tap water

  • @Mallice88 Maybe if you click on the arrow below the video, you will see the complete recipe!

  • A great addition to chicken soup is bulgar wheat, or barley. Kinda like chicken rice soup, but with less carbs and more fiber. Mmmmmm.

  • @fitcoach2007 Was delicious :D Took me some time to skim the chicken fat/oil off the top after boiling but thats the only real hassle I had. There is so much soup, enough for me and my gf for 2-3 days and she really loves it. I added 2 bayleafs, italian seasoning for flavor and a 15oz can of corn to go with it.. good stuff very delicious and healthy, will make again 5/5!

  • How did you remove the skin from the ray chicken? I had a lot of trouble the last time, it was really tough to peel off. Any tips? Thanks for this awesome recipe, this will be my third time making it.

  • just stick your fingers under the skin and move back and forth. It takes a little work but it will come off.

  • If you click on the top right hand corner box by the video, where it says (more info), the complete recipe is there.

  • Oh thank you! :D

  • if you saute the onions and carrots, would that make a difference in taste?

  • I dont know you cab try it.

  • Yes.A huge difference in taste for the better. You need to also add a fist full of fresh chopped parsley.

  • mmm this looks good, i think it would taste great if you added some mushrooms, fennel and possibly hominy corn!

  • that is the beauty of cooking, make it your own by adding what you like. good luck and enjoy. Juan

  • wow, this looks so good.... Sunday night project here I come!

    thank you!

  • enjoy!

  • Must u shred the chicken? Can u keep it whole throughout?

  • omg did the chicken die?

  • that looks so good and healthy!

Do you mind me asking how many calories are in that and for how many servings?

  • servings are 6-8. Sorry I do not know the calories for the meal. I don"t count calories, I teach folks to use portion control.

    Juan

  • not to be rude but if you teach portion control then you should know the caloric amounts in your recipes. That is portion control.

  • woop woop chicken soup !

  • i made this today it was delicious but i didt have celery stock so i added oxo veg stock it was gooood thanks 4 that

  • I am glad you enjoyed my soup. keep coming back for more, subscribe to my channel. Juan

  • Not sure about that oxo veg stuff, it is pure chemistry. Al least Juan's version had proper celery. But why so many - six? I cook it in the following proportion - 4 carrots, one parsley root and a half celery root. Juan, how do you make that hot sauce?

  • That made me hungry just watching.

  • than you must eat away! ha ha

  • thanks looks very good :)!

  • Lol never heard of putting tomatoes in with carrots at the same time..or putting in tomato sauce :/

  • you need to give it a try!

  • But doesn't cooking tomatos for that long destroy their vitamin content?

  • Hey thanks for uploading the video. I learnt how to cook a very delicious meal. Anyway if we are only cooking for two people ,would it like take lesser time for us to cook it?

  • You could reduce the ingredients and make a smaller servings, or you could freeze whatever is left over for later.

  • ummm...what did u put in there??? how r we supposed to know???

  • Sorry about that, I have added the ingredients list to the video description box.

To the right of the video.

  • I will make some. This video has really made me hungry...

    Keep coming back for more.

    Juan

  • Great!

  • could you tell me all the other stuff you put in after you shed the chicken? i had no idea, messge me.

  • thats what you call a "Mirepoix" in the culinary world, aka carrots, celery, onion. A Mirepoix is standard in most soup and even stock bases. Not to be confused with a "Trinity" which is bell peper celery onion, more of a southern soup base which yep you guess it you dont use carrots. See we learned something today :)

  • very nice recipe! thanks for sharing...you should post this video on your site too, not only the link :)

  • finally a true chef!!! screw asians!! like chinese philipino vietnam!! god!!! help them how to cook good food!!!
