Do you Christians support Muslims in Palestain, Iraq and Afghanistan? My brothers are being killed by your Mighty Dollar worshipers. Remember soon the tides will be turned and it will come back to haunt you what you doing in Muslim lands. Chickens usually come home to roost.
@yonisfarah Are you saying that muslims will soon leave us alone and go home? That would be great! Besides, if you don't like what we are doing in those countries you mentioned (including the one that don't really exist) then leave us alone and you don't have to worry about us coming there and kicking your ass!
I Don't understand why Christians seem to worship Jews and see them as "The Chosen People ~ {What kind of God would do that...I dunno?!!!} cattle and really seem to hate them. The Bible { as drawn up for Constantine} is a book written by Jews seemingly for Jews. I was called a Goym recently..by a Cop from Miami. I considered the source...but the venom was real. They really think they are gonna take over the earth and make us slaves. Maybe even eat us...Who knows???
I don't think religion should play a part in politics. But people who don't believe in certains things because it is against their religion, should be exempt from participating in it. For example the Freedom of Choice Act. Taking dr's licenses away if they don't practice abortion. SOME CHOICE. As for promoting promiscuity, ppl promote that then they want us Republicans to pay for abortions. No, keep your legs closed until marriage, or deal with what you did.
4evermore7 is a perfect example of why Christians are dangerous. Basicly what he's saying is he WANTS the world to go down in flames so his religious prophecy can be fulfilled. It's really sick.
THE WORD OF GOD says this must happen! and there is nothing you can do to stop it, it has been profesized before hand that this will happen in the end of this world you would know this if you read the bible. The book of Jhon, Daniel and Revelation speak about this. Not no revolution is going to stop what is coming! Don't waste your time on no revolution. Look for and find God because the time is short. All you can do is follow God commandments and he will do the justice for you

You also show that we've gone from being the force that brought near 100 percent literacy to the English speaking world to being a people who have abandoned the written word.
Look im sorry for showing my opinion, but i believe the bible, i do. but look. what if they get their NWO, what then. some things we cant stop. like the flood of noas ark. or the destruction of sodom, no one belived but then it happened. what God wants is for us to rely on him, and to trust in him not on our self power, thats why man was created in the first place, to serve god.thats why we are where we are today, because we have relied more on our selfs then coming to our creator for guidence.

Religion is a technology, created by MAN to limit the human families understanding of the universe. As with any technology the written word can be used to educate or stupify depending of course on its writers motivations. Religion has had positive influence but not to the degree of its negative influence. Any human being that only accepts one book as truth, disreguarding all others will always have great difficulty in understanding our vast human family.
Religion has nothing to do with negative influence in the world. Sin has everything to do with negative influence in the world. The Bible illustrates that plainly. Pure religion is to take care of the widows and the poor. Jesus despised religion and religious leaders during his time. However, Jesus demonstrated that we need him for the remission of sins. This is what rescues us from the native influence of the world. Jesus Christ the Son of God. Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess

Goodmorning everyone. My brief background. I'm a retired Judicial Investigator. For those who say God's law is not interwoven with man's law is ignorant:
1. Thou shall not kill (Murder). In California that is 187 P.C. Thou shalt not steal. In California that is 487 P.C. (Theft)
I can go on! God establishes Governments and uses them to regulate man's behavior. Read what the Apostle Paul wrote in the book of Romans 13: 1-7. To say the Bible has nothing to say about Government is foolish.
I think God established the institution of GOVERNMENT on earth, but I don't in anyway, think that God sets up and endorses specific governments today. Especially being that most of them are full of leaders involved in the Occult & Satanic worship practices, Zionism, drug trafficking, apartheid, deception & murder & eugenics, biological warfare & warmongering. There is much wickedness in govt, today.
Lamar, that is one of the MOSt ignorant things I've ever seen written concedrning our government, and the intentions of our founding fathers. I hope that you don't believe, nor anyone else, that the USA was founded by "atheist". Our Country is ABSOLUTELY founded by persons who had Christian beliefs, and the laws created by them, the Constitution written by them, is interwoven with Christian values. Not that of any other religion.
Not every evangelical or Christian voted for him. Only the ones who listen to Frank Pastori & Pat Robertson types. I got duped once, till I saw all that crap with Iraq & Bush's 936 LIES about it. I stopped listening to all that blind Republican Christian trash & propaganda & learned to think for myself, CRITICALLY! We must stop jumping on bandwagons over issues like Abortion alone. They may not be 4 it but will pass laws 4 depopulation that will kill the babies you already have birthed!
If anyone wants a theocracy of any kind please do us a favor and move to either Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, etc. The bible nor christianity are mentioned no where in our constitution. Laws should be formulated via reason and a firm understanding of social change as well as the natural factors that govern them. Not mythology in invented by desert nomads with add-ons from earlier mythologies.
These nations (Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, etc) are NOT "theocracies," they are "ecclesiocracies" -- or states run by a religious institution.
A true theocracy is "one nation under God" a state that recognizes the sovereignty of the One God with a separation of powers -- church, state, family, business, local, federal, judicial, congressional, executive, etc.
None of the speakers in this series advocate a state run by a religion.
no but they are not, however he is advocating using or not using) government funds for causes that agree of disagree with his religious view points. Also we as a nation do not have to recognize the "soveignity of god" for next will be using the "laws of god" or mans own interpretation of them. We are a secular nation meaning no inputs from theologies or mythologies alike. Religion should have absolutely no influence on government whatsoever.
I think Howard is very clear about the federal government not using tax dollars to enforce religious ideology.
If someone breaks a law they would be punished obviously. Then we need to have the debate over whether these laws ought to reflect the standards of morality commanded n the Bible -- which have been an effective model for millennia -- or the arbitrary laws of man which increase every day.
God gave only ten commandments, man gives us 10,000,000.
The laws (10 commandments) of the Bible are not new for they are simular laws in the code of Hamurabi and the 40 admonitions of Maat both of which were written over a thousand years before the Bible.
This guy is so full of it. The founding fathers talked like all men then did -- religiously. But those same founding fathers were bouncing on their slaves at night, raping their slaves, then selling THEIR own children from those rapes into slavery.
For hundreds of years, "christian" men were buggering the bejesus out of any slave they wanted, and forcing the slaves to do horrible work.
Religion has always been used to get power, prestige, and pussy. Ask Freud.
Your notice of the existence of religious hypocrisy actually is an argument in favor Christian ethics. For someone to violate the principles taught by Jesus, those principles must have some merit in your mind.
The failure of the founding fathers to follow Christian principles without error is not an argument against the principles, but against the failure of men. You can't make an argument against, "Love your neighbor" as a basis for civil polity.
You miss the meaning ... all government ... all laws are based on nothing more than collective belief. What is religion except a set of people who agree on a collective belief! The belief's of Constitution are fine today if we would simple FOLLOW IT strickly!
Remember what Jesus said: "Do you not see that whatever goes into a man from outside cannot defile him ... What comes out of a man is what defiles a man.
Liberals are extremist -- but muslims aren't? Great observation -- maybe you should learn history. Liberals caused every advance in mankind -- freedom, rights, equality, all liberal concepts. Muslims seem pretty extreme to me.
Whether Muslim or Jew, Christian or Atheist, everyone believes in something. Every dock worker and every musician and every politician operates from their own sense of right and wrong and editorializes. So, to say faith should be out of government is alot like saying oranges shouldn't be in orange juice: it's really a silly thought.
To say that all religion is the root of all evil shows you are a very ignorant person. Christians and Judaism preaches love of mankind. Other religions preach hatred. Chose a side or be ignorant like you.
Perhaps you should take a look at the principals of your own religion. Is there not a verse about how it's hard to remove the splinter from your fellow's eye when you have a plank in your own? By assuming that all other religions other than those Judeo-Christian preach hate, and inviting people to "side with the superior", are you not yourself propegating separation and hate amongst humanity? The statements you have made show their own level of ignorance and an obvious disdain for your fellows.
Sorry, but in my recent lookings into Judaism and the Talmud, it absolutely DOES NOT TEACH LOVE for all mankind. It only teaches that the Jew put the Jew first and everyone else is DUng AND WORTHLESS! It calls Jesus a bastard & his mother a whore, gives permission to cheat a non-jew, to kill him.. it is a real nightmare and horror, THAT book is above the Torah in Judaism.
That means that the federal government cannot establish a national religion.
It has nothing to do with looking to biblical law as a standard for civil law. Of course, every nation in hisotry that has been influenced by Christianity has done that.
right, if you want to push for a law that is in unison with your religious beliefs then you must state your case logically without need of reference from an "almighty being" and make certain that no other persons unalienable rights are put to question. thats all, just pointing out the obvious.
i dont like the idea of a political party being based on religion, especially in america of all places. there are radical christians that could misconstrue the bible to enforce unjust laws. the way we run our country should not be based on religion at all. vote for a libertarian!! (RON PAUL!!!)
Or else we will have the current situation in which we have politicans enforcing unjust laws that are anti-biblical. The only just laws ARE biblical laws.
i have to disagree with that one, i find nothing "just" when it comes to narrowly sacrificing your only begotten son because you hear the word of god telling you to do so. can you imagine the emotional scaring that would have on a child?
So it is wrong for the federal government to fund organizations of "cultural evangelism" when their values clash with Mr. Philips' views, but perfectly OK for the federal government to fund "faith-based" initiatives like the abstinence education fiasco? Hypocrites! Get the log out of your own eye.
If you pay attntion to what Howard is saying here and elsewhere, he doesn't think the government should fund our religion, your religion or organizations that are antithetical to religion.
What he is talking about is returning the federal government to its constitutionally mandated powers and no more.
Statists don't want that because they need federal funding in order for their worldview to survive.
All of this is after the failure of no child left behind and corporate oligarchy seems harmless. This man is a fool and will eat those words now that prices are skyrocketting and the free market can no longer contain or reduce costs to the consumer. Conservatism =failure. Your socio corporate engineering has failed. You are all failures!
A smattering of truth ("The federal government has no role as an instrument of salvation. Salvation is by the blood of Christ and faith in Him by God's grace.") doesn't mean that he is wise.
If even then you remain hostile toward me and refuse to obey, I will inflict you with seven more disasters for your sins. I will release wild animals that will kill your children and destroy your cattle, so your numbers will dwindle and your roads will be deserted. (Leviticus 26:21-22 NLT)
Wow, that was an amazing line-up "critian values" mumbo jumbo. It's so bad when coverment tries to brake down religious mindbarriers and give medical help to homosexuals or unvillingly pragnant people.
Some people would realy love to have a cristian ajatola.

Remember what Jesus said: "Do you not see that whatever goes into a man from outside cannot defile him ... What comes out of a man is what defiles a man.

Theocracy? in America? sounds like muslim extrimists or same as.
MrWolf666 4 years ago
islamists are not extremists. the foundation for government was layed out for us and is a requirment. liberals are extremists
rOaCh2000 4 years ago
Liberals are extremist -- but muslims aren't? Great observation -- maybe you should learn history. Liberals caused every advance in mankind -- freedom, rights, equality, all liberal concepts. Muslims seem pretty extreme to me.

Whether Muslim or Jew, Christian or Atheist, everyone believes in something. Every dock worker and every musician and every politician operates from their own sense of right and wrong and editorializes. So, to say faith should be out of government is alot like saying oranges shouldn't be in orange juice: it's really a silly thought.

I believe that religion (also known as the quest for power and control) is the root of all the evils that men do.
bobb88 3 years ago
To say that all religion is the root of all evil shows you are a very ignorant person. Christians and Judaism preaches love of mankind. Other religions preach hatred. Chose a side or be ignorant like you.
PatriotCare 3 years ago 3
Perhaps you should take a look at the principals of your own religion. Is there not a verse about how it's hard to remove the splinter from your fellow's eye when you have a plank in your own? By assuming that all other religions other than those Judeo-Christian preach hate, and inviting people to "side with the superior", are you not yourself propegating separation and hate amongst humanity? The statements you have made show their own level of ignorance and an obvious disdain for your fellows.
analagouswithevil 3 years ago
Sorry, but in my recent lookings into Judaism and the Talmud, it absolutely DOES NOT TEACH LOVE for all mankind. It only teaches that the Jew put the Jew first and everyone else is DUng AND WORTHLESS! It calls Jesus a bastard & his mother a whore, gives permission to cheat a non-jew, to kill him.. it is a real nightmare and horror, THAT book is above the Torah in Judaism.

bob88 you obviously have never opened the good book. What power and control was Christ questing for???

"make NO law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"
sheepwshotguns 4 years ago
That means that the federal government cannot establish a national religion.
It has nothing to do with looking to biblical law as a standard for civil law. Of course, every nation in hisotry that has been influenced by Christianity has done that.
jcr4runner 4 years ago
right, if you want to push for a law that is in unison with your religious beliefs then you must state your case logically without need of reference from an "almighty being" and make certain that no other persons unalienable rights are put to question. thats all, just pointing out the obvious.

I think you meant Sleepwshotgun but then YOUR savor OBama has a hard time getting it right also.

i dont like the idea of a political party being based on religion, especially in america of all places. there are radical christians that could misconstrue the bible to enforce unjust laws. the way we run our country should not be based on religion at all. vote for a libertarian!! (RON PAUL!!!)
koffeebean 4 years ago
Or else we will have the current situation in which we have politicans enforcing unjust laws that are anti-biblical. The only just laws ARE biblical laws.
jcr4runner 4 years ago
i have to disagree with that one, i find nothing "just" when it comes to narrowly sacrificing your only begotten son because you hear the word of god telling you to do so. can you imagine the emotional scaring that would have on a child?
sheepwshotguns 4 years ago
I am sure that Jesus is doing just fine. He suffered greatly for my sins but has no emotional scars.
jcr4runner 4 years ago
well isn't that an empathetic response...
sheepwshotguns 4 years ago
i was talking abraham's attempted sacrifice of his son isaac. i dont think isaac had a choice in the matter.
but while we are on the topic of jesus and morality:
But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath commited adultery with her already in his heart
if you want this in law, you've got to be kidding.

So it is wrong for the federal government to fund organizations of "cultural evangelism" when their values clash with Mr. Philips' views, but perfectly OK for the federal government to fund "faith-based" initiatives like the abstinence education fiasco? Hypocrites! Get the log out of your own eye.
gurlzone 4 years ago
Philips thinks all faith based organizations should be funded privately and not by the civil government.
Is that your favorite scripture to quote?
jcr4runner 4 years ago
1) Faith-based initiatives, not faith-based organizations.
2) No.
gurlzone 4 years ago
