  • These songs. These men. These visions. Are the only reasons I continue to try to make the world a better world, as everyone should.

  • This is powerful on so many levels. I was weeping in the naration before the singing started. Your music reverently interweaves the folk-guitar music of my youth with the Native American chanting I recognize as sacred. I continue to learn so much from the First Americans of how daily life and spitual ceremony are one. Thank you Bill Miller.

  • Bill his singing, his lyrics and his performance, are really very beautiful. It touches my soul and my spirit. Wonderful to listen to you! Blessed greetings to Bill and all native to the world. I'm with my mind always with you and for you!

  • Wado(Thank You)Bill.Keep up your awesome work for the people.

  • And I have seen Islamiste beheading men, cutting breast of women that was feeding a child and giving the breast to the baby with blood, etc.... the point is everybody does cruel things to humans, dont forget the past either !

  • @MsGLULU - accept the penalty, don't pass off the accountability that these devils of America has to take. Don't shift it to Islam or anybody else. He said U.S. Soldiers, that's what it is. They have to own and don't stand in the way of it due to your bullshit patriotism. Karma. We're finallllllly coming home!

  • Gave me chills.

  • i love the biller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song touches my heart and soul more then you could ever know...you are very talented May the great spirit watch over you and anyone that watches this ,,and all Of the Native American people

  • He has good meaning.

  • YOU ARE A TRUE PATRIOT MY BROTHER....AHO

  • He has an extraordinary voice, really. Love this guy.

  • @BlueNote74 I wanna know if I have a vision or not

  • wow, a powerful song!! I am amazed and moved deeply, BRAVO!!

  • he reminds me of john redcorn from king of hill

  • when you listen to the record company dictate your material you have what is called main stream music it all sounds the same......give us something real everytime and I, for one will buy it.....

  • I first heard this song in around 2004 on wmnf radio. I was driving late at night and was mesmerized as I listened. I searched until I found where I could buy this song and ended up buying two of your albums. I love them both.

I am a small part indian on both sides of my family and I'm sorry I didn't know it until too late to ask questions that I now would love to know the answers to. God has blessed you with an amazing talent and you use it for his glory. Thank you.

  • i love this song ,im british and have alot of respect for the native american peoples you are no savages as mentioned below in fact that could be said of every nation in the world we all have our shame

  • I grew up on the other side of the block from this guy.

  • he is like a grandpa to me :)

i have spent a lot of time with him, I don't know what I would do without him. He has told me to follow my dreams. He came to my presentation 5 years ago and ever since then I have gotten to see him every year.

  • when i say in high school my history teacher show use them pics being native American i start brake down and cry for my people

  • Did you ever see the Movie Soldier Blue? It tells the history of what Bill is speaking of. its sickening and disgusting how people were so cold.

  • i saw him live singing all his songs.

  • @tweetros

He is incredible. He is a close friend with my English teacher. He spent and entire day with my class. It was an amazing expierience.

  • ... and the Euros call us savages.

  • marichiwew......

  • It is something that most people don't even know about. Sickening.

  • @webkinsracoon It is more sickening that people know about it and still don't care

  • MIgwetch

  • I love Bill Miller, one of my all time favorite artists; however, I'm uncomfortable hearing him talk about God and a Messiah. is this the same God that those who tried to annihilate his culture believe in? As a "white" person who doesn't believe in any god/gods, I'd much rather hear him talk about the land and nature rather than a fictitious being. God was used as an excuse to kill the Natives and bring slaves here and it's baffling that both of those peoples follow that same god. Hope I'm wrong

  • why would you say God did that to Native people- as a Native person myself I know it was other humans who thought they were doing God's will- NOT GOD himself

  • Hi byrdmoto,

Sorry you misunderstood; however, please reread my comment/question and you will see that I did NOT say that "God" did anything to anyone. I am questioning why Natives and people who are descendants of Slaves would so readily accept the god of the people who tried to destroy them. I am not trying to infringe on your beliefs, just questioning why you would follow the "white man's" god when the white man used that same very god as a reason to kill so many Natives...

  • I hope that makes more sense and thank you for asking me about it instead of yelling at me and telling me what an a-hole I am.

  • The Creator is the Creator of All- when Bill is talking about the Messiah here is talking of the Messiah promised in Wovoka's vision in the 1800's. We basically all have the same God we just worship Him in different way

  • @byrdmoto

Agreed. God is God. I just happen to put a different face on mine in comparison to the next person. :} Good to hear this view from another!

  • @fatboy1271 beacuse we are forgvieing and know it was other humans not god its people twisting gods words not the true teachings would you be a big enough person to see past your pain or would you live in hate all your life if it was you and your family that this happend to

  • @KindKristin your hate is still destroying this culture

  • @fatboy1271 Why do you think you have any right to comment on Mr. Miller's spirituality at all? Do you feel the need to correct him? Do you think that you are some how more enlightened? I am sure that he cares not about how uncomfortable you are.

  • @lwatcdr I do not believe that I was commenting on Mr. Miller's spirituality at all. I asked if the Native People followed the same "God and Messiah" as the "white" people. I did not correct anyone, enlighten anyone, or ask if anyone cares for my views. If you would read byrmodo's response, he explains what is meant by Creator and Messiah. I asked to learn, not to be charged with words I didn't use. I have the utmost respect for Mr Miller and do not like being lumped in with people like hoboguru

  • @fatboy1271 Well I can not say what Mr. Miller means but if you read up on the Spirit Dance movement you would find that Wovoka claimed to have a vision of Jesus Christ. If there is a God "I believe that there is" then it is everybody's God. I can not speak for Mr. Miller but what I read and head from him leads me to believe that he Believes in one God and that is the God of Abraham. And he believes in Jesus the Christ and that he is the Messiah. The Wikipedia has a section on the Spiritdance

  • justice will be served " ....Feather in the Wind "......by faith

  • Everything is a mirror...

  • the troops that did that in the photos were probably pissed off coz an indian ripped off their mates scalp whilst he was still alive! its called TIT FOR TAT

also he thinks he is so indian and spiritual well american indians didnt believe in the mono theistic religion you do so you make no sense talking about your fake visions of them

  • do you know anything about history? don't think so by your comment

  • @hoboguru your fucked up you dont know shit fuck off you freak keep your shit to your self no one want to hear it got it

  • @hoboguru you my friend are a dumbass

  • love his music and style

  • I learned of Bill Miller when he came to our little, rural community college on November 9, 2009. I was absolutely blown away that I was able to witness his amazing talent close up, not in an auditorium where I had to pay $50 to get in and needed binoculars to see the performer. I am so in awe of his beautiful voice and musical ability, and his courage in telling of experiences exactly as he sees them. I wish his performances could be purchased on video. He deserves to be paid when we watch.

  • I love this song. Bill has a worshiper annointing.

  • Bill Miller has a great song

  • this is cool my step dad actualy played in a band with him when he was younger sweet!!!

  • We met him at one of Chipa Wolf's pow wows. He was so sweet to our son (an Inuit) and our daughter (a Kiawah). Bill is a gentleman and an amazing artist.

  • I saw him this past June in PA at Buffalo Messengers and he just has the ability to cause you to open your heart to truth.

  • bill miller came to my school becuase my teacher Marta Storm knows him and he came to my shcool to perform for us and i won a raffle out of 5 other people and i got to be on stage with him and sang one of his songs with him

  • Love this song!

  • What's the WMG and how can they remove bill miller's songs

  • WMG is I think Warner Music Group so they must 'own' the 'rights' to some of his tunes? Got to protect the profit flow.

  • AMAZING

  • outstanding performance!

  • Thank you Bill for your music and words.

It was a pleasure to talk to you and hear your stories when I met you several years ago

  • Bill Miller Thank you I have all your albums you speak to and for all of us.I wish more people of today would share and particapate in the ways of the first peoples.
