  • hello there, do you please what the equivalent of F2 and F4. Im getting crazy by starting using this Mac Excel. please help!!!tx.c.

  • Y2allzad--I think the easiest way to do that would be to cut and paste each renter's info into another spreadsheet/part of the spreadsheet whenever they pay, that way you'll have two lists, one of not paid and one of paid. Or, you could keep your highlighted master list and copy/paste each payed tenants' info into another column--one of only those who paid. the total owed (first column) minus total paid (second column) equals how much is still owed.

    See Microsoft's help site too.

  • This may be a stupid question, But I am having trouble figuring out how I can set up a formula on my spread sheet that will only calculate information into the formula when I have highlighted it. For example I have thirty properties that I own and I want at the end of the month to know how much the total is for the people who have payed. WHen a tenant has payed I highlight there name and rent amount in yellow. I would like my formula to only calculate the amounts that have highlighted in yellow

  • thanks so much! i hated excel, now it's sooo useful!

  • this is wonderful millie. i had completely forgot how to do all of this!
