You cannot wave a blade or sword around in a park but you can fly one around.

This is stupid most countrys laws will change after someone is killed this is too late.

It's unfortunate, but many people wouldn't get it through their heads that these RC helicopters are not toys. It's no different than being behind the wheel of a vehicle.

The lesson is to be extra careful! keep away from the crowd. Use throttle hold when you land & dont switch off your Tx. Battery to be disconnected first.

thing about helis ur not suposed to land and give someone the remote.....Who ever flys any kind of rc plane or heli that person is not to give away the remote because if its fm it could have an interfearence and maybe run in to some body..And that person needs to wait until that tank of nitro(gas)or battery has ran out to give someone a turn......Thats what i learned at rc training...

A guy was killed by a rc helicopter around here, a few years ago. But it did not make the nightly news. I reckon there is a lot of injury and deaths around these toys.

Basically, what happened was that the helicopter was just sitting there and all of a sudden it powered up; they don't know if it was like an accident as in someone hit the remote, or if it was interference.

Use Throttle Hold

When you flick a switch and it holds the throttle at idle ( preset ). If you bump the throttle stick the thottle does not operate. Also used for practising autorotations. Hold throttle but allows Collective pitch.

Theres not a lot of good places to fly in HK, I know, I lived there for 5 years. That sign saying no flying used to be ok to fly but too many people went there so the government closed it but that didn't stop some dedicated pilots.
