i'm not bragging it's just that u only did 180 on a 1.6 cc 2005 ..you should ve done way more that's what i mean and ps i did 240 on a 2.4 cc Honda accord

@salemdam oh ok i c, no problem, anyways i didn't have enough road to go more than 180 in this vid, though i did 190 on the second vid of that same day, but the fastest i reached was 208 or so on the last attempt i filmed.

and i used the 90 octane fuel if i use the 95 it might get to 190

I got the same car i live in Australia but you got ripped my friend the stock 2005 lancer in Australia has a 2.0L motor.

bro how did i get ripped if the 1.6 makes 122 bhp while the 2.0 makes 120 bhp? lol

they brought the 2.0 over here pretending to be the ralliart, i raced my friend in his and i smoked him, but his is an auto.

i guess they added headers and some things to make it 130 bhp instead of 120.

Yeah but the 2.0L has more potential after all bigger is better most of the time my car actually at the mechanic now i'm getting the throttle body upgrade and inlet manifold i've also had a cold air kit put on it and full custom exhust i'll let you know what i'm getting at the wheel when it's done.

well yeah could be, but i still don't feel i've got ripped since it's not a sports car and wasn't meant to be modded.

good luck would all that, the car will feel nippier off the line and a bit more fun to drive, me i'm just using it as my daily driver since it's pretty reliable, very good car i might say.

u should dyno it before and after to see how much u gained, but i guess that's a bit late now, check rpw for mods.

thats cool i have been getting it modded at RPW and yes has been dyno'd 125hp at the wheel 182Nm of torque it goes all right now more fun to drive anyway thanks for the tip.

-racing filters( I actually removed the filters like in hondas)

-iridium sparks

-hi performance hi tension wires

-2" headers

-2 1/2' down pipes + 20" resonator

-2rows radiator to support extra heat

-lighten flywheel (you have to be careful on this one or you will loose power during hillclimbs) i shaved the flywheel of 1kg you can do it 2kg but you will loose top end of the car

-port and polish stage 1

-remove back seats and spare tires

im able to hit 220 slex im using lancer itlog/hotdawg. theres are big difference in lancer generations especially the hotdogs they are the lightest lancers ever made... want to know my set up?

I just change my engine to a full racing+ racing exhaust and suspensions... sr20 and b16 cant win on my sohc engine... LOL

dude you should tune it with intake jet chip stage 2 exhaust/header then enjoy your ride it take 25 seconds to reach 140 am sorry but thats really slow

@Death666wish we removed the catalytic converter in my brothers 2007 lancer with 2.0 4 g63 engine..mileage and accelerationimproved..but the 4 speed cvt is lousy it takes time for the car to pickup. so far we've done 200kmph before we ran out of road..i own a gls like yours and surpisingly it accelerate faster than the old gt..i think it has a lot to do with the 6 speed cvt..its still on warranty so i can't touch anything..I've done 190kmph but it still have some juice before i ran out of road.

what's the size of the engine? and what's the output stock?

it's a 1.6, and supposedly it puts out 122hp but i don't know how much goes to the wheels.
