I hope your sister is an orthodontist if she is doing your braces???? especially if extractions are planned. If she is she should be able to answer your questions as well. @pinklover9100 You have a lot of questions. To get the correct answers you should see an orthodontist for an evaluation. Most Orthodontists off the initial consult for free, and you do not need to be refered by a general dentist. Just get your parent to call and set you up an appointment. They will be happy to answer all your questions and see if you are a good candidate for braces.
If you do not think your teeth are staight enough or look good enough you are a candidate for braces. If you would like to improve your smile, see an orthodontist for a consultation.

@filzah102 Oberbite is how much your upper teeth overlap your lower teeth, normally it is 2-3mm (or you should see about 3/4's of your lower teeth when you are bitting together. If your overbite is too large or deep it can lead to extra wear on your teeth.
