  • It's all genetics.

  • MiMi get some fucking sun girl, you look like you spent the winter in a cave.

  • she looks good, but its not because she is a vegetarian. its because she eats nutrition.

  • @datzfast btw i eat two raw meals per day. guess what i cook? other creatures that ate proper nutrition.

  • I haven't eaten meat in almost ten years - I sure hope I can be Mimi when I grow up! ;)

  • You people are fucking stupid. You don't know jack shit about food. Clearly. Were made to eat meat? READ A BOOK.

  • hey guess what? its in the human nature to eat meat! WHAT... no!? but yeah it actually is... and also, if some of the animals we kill for food, fur, etc... like fish, foxes etc... had the chance to kill US for food they would! so its a worthless cause to be big pussys because the animals could care less about YOU. So go fucking eat a delicious steak for dinner because there's no fucking point being a skinny bitch your whole life

  • People say Genetics. Folks, seriously you should TRY IT before you knock it. Genetics, haha.

  • id hit it

  • With 5-10% meat in her diet she would look prettier. Most women, when they reach 45, stop doing physical exercise. You have to force some blood into your face to keep it from becoming gray. What make you age rapidly are depression, bitterness, laziness, lots of meat, fried food, working overtime, excess of sunlight, worrying, sleep deprivation, hating your job, processed food, loneliness, little body contact. Well, you all know the hazards. Just remember, the clock stops at 120ish.

  • If she is 71, and the sexiest vegetarian over 50, it doesn't bode well for 50+ vegetarians. Imagine how ugly the rest must be.

  • VILF!!

  • There are vegans who are 40 that look 70 too though...

  • My grandpa was still playing touch football with us when he was 70 and he ate bacon, fried eggs, red meat, all the good farm fare. If it was so bad why did he live to 92?

  • @dshaw12681 is not how long she lives that matter. its how she looks inside and outside.

  • She obviously sold her soul

  • @Spetsop: Bioaccumulation. If there are chemicals in the plants, there will be even more chemicals per kg in the animals that ate the plants. And besides: Milk contains lots of stuff that's definitely not healthy for humans, no matter what the cow ate. Just think about it. Grown men drinking a natural product that's natural purpose is to let small cows grow big. Of course there's a lot of good stuff in milk too, but it's a natural mix that's not designed for grown humans.

  • well, i am gonna start drinking green smoothies a lllllll the time!!!!!

  • GGILF ...lmao thats crazy

  • Vegan is great, but genetics are huge part of our life. Interetsted to check her parents.

  • @angeldance15 Wouldn't be creepy if they turn out to be alive! :D

  • @angeldance15 One word: epigenetics

  • "some of the men could have been my daughter"

  • @CrazeSniper Vegan men aren't very masculine.

  • @joroma77 Really? Check out the Raw Vegan Myth on here, by RawFitChris...

  • She looks incredible. And she doesn't look fake or botoxed.

  • And the governments shouldnt let the industry of fish destroy many ecosystms with their ships and trawls. Maby it would be for these ideals people should fight for.

  • But I want to state that I'm against many animal abuse such as circus, bullfight, animal testing, killing just for fur... And I would vote yes for laws who would care for the well being of animals during their lives in farms :s

  • I don't think vegan is the answer. I know all the industry behind meat and fish, but if people just reduce the consume of meat and fish maybe things could be different. I don't think its natural for us not eat animals because is just the way nature is. If animals just died for age or desiase, there would be no biodiversity or natural selection... and eventually everyone would die cause all the plants would be gone. (I'm just being dramatic :P)

  • @lendsy

I partially agree with what you said. You have to remember that most animals aren't carnivorous. Animals are raised specifically for human consumption. If we think about evolution you will notice that humans barely even have canine teeth, and they aren't nearly as effective to tear flesh as all other carnivores, so thinking "logically" we aren't made to eat as much meat as the average person does. Maybe humans are anatomically progressively evolving into less carnivorous beings?

  • @ranov Yes I don't think we need to eat meat every day. I don't and that was my point. And the teeth thing, we unlike the other carnivorous don't eat raw meat and since the "ice age" humans have tools to cut it. I think what we have is more food options which can provide us the energy we need. If everyone stopped eating meat these animals wouldn't suffer but also wouldn't exist and many families would be without work... Things aren't just so simple....

  • Comment removed

  • @lendsy Don't call yourself a carnivore. A carnivore can leap on the back of an animal, rip it apart with its teeth and claws, then chew through to the bone without needing utensils or fire.

You are a carnist -one who believes propaganda pushed by industries making profit off selling animals as food, that it's acceptable & "normal" to cook & eat certain animals, using weapons to kill & fire to cook or buying it packaged, while other animals are taboo (say, dogs or cats in America).

  • She looks about late 30s, maybe 40 in an unflattering light. Woowwwww. o.0

  • dobily do

  • dobily do

  • Wow! She is absolutely gorgeous, and she doesn't look a day over 20!

  • I am amazed at the number of Comments below that show the authors did NOT listen to what was said, or made negative assumptions to back up negative comments.

Congratulations, Mimi Kirk! Live long, and prosper!

  • some of the men couldve been my daughter????? she meant sons ( thats lack of meat in her system!)

  • @thebarrochannel I think that comment was intended to be a joke!

  • I have named you the Queen Mother of Our Vegan Social Network.

  • 40 years without eating meat? Not worth it, meat be delicious.

  • you are hot, sweetheart! Thanks for representing to us what the right food and mindset can do. We are supposed to be eternal.

  • i love this woman

  • @piccolo8344 ,you miss the whole point.Indians in India are vegetarian yes,but they are still living in civilisation, therefore they are not living naturally. The point about nature is that its perfect, its taken thousands of years to develop.Yes this lady looks great, kudos to hear but how do we know if she has had treatments or is just genetically because I tell I'm telling you she would not look like that living a natural life in the wild, therefore her diet, her looks are fake.

  • I see nothing sexy

  • WOW!

  • HUGE KUDDOS to you Mimi Kirk! Not only do I want to LOOK great at 72, I want to FEEL as great as you descrbe at 72, starting NOW so I can definetly get there I've got 21 years to keep this fabulous LIVE FOOD maintenance Health Plan! Like your style!! YOU GO GIRL!! :D

  • yeah, yeah...please let us se you in swim suit...I know seventies meat-eaters as much or prittier than this one. With such a lot of make up and painted hair...What´s the merit?

  • Go mimi

  • You skeptics are missing the point with all of your negative comments. Your loss.

  • I believe "protein" is a term hyped by the meat & dairy industry propaganda. What you really need is vitamins & minerals -- which you get from the dark green leafy vegetables & seeds (and fruits), like Mimi says!

  • @blakmira Protein is important too. Meat is not bad for you.

  • @blakmira ummm.... no protein, no nitrogen---- DNA is made of nitrogen, muscles are made of protein that has nitrogen, your body can't function without the right amount of protein of the right quality. Sorry, this isn't an issue of belief

  • @trekflyer ummm....prove that the concept of "protein" is not just propaganda perpetuated by the meat and dairy industries. Prove it.

Prove that you need anything more than living enzymes found in all raw plant-based foods. Prove it.

  • you're my role model! <3

  • @piccolo8344 Indians are not known to be the healthiest people on the planet.

they actually suffer from stomach cancers and diabetes more than Americans.

the reason you don't hear so much about it is because they are too poor to seek medical help.Nature is perfect, there are no mistakes in nature.

  • @rockcityaudio Actually indians are very healthy. There main food is meat. There's nothing unhealthy about meat.

  • @rockcityaudio My grand father lived to be 110 and was native american. Main food source was meat. Ate plants too but alot of meat.

  • The evidence in nature is against vegetarians and vegans as in nature they do not exist and cannot exist.I frequently stated that if any vegans or vegetarians can survive in the wild without supermarkets, I would be surprised.

I would never condone the suffering of any living creature but at the same time, truth has to prevail. There are no,repeat no native tribes that exist solely on a plant based diet, they all supplement with meat, this makes vegetarian and vegans ideas absurd.

  • @rockcityaudio Many people all over the world are vegetarian or vegan. In India, for example, about 40% of the population is vegetarian (according to an '06 Survey). Also, just because something exists in nature doesn't mean it's intrinsically good. Most animals in the wild live life under constant stress with not enough to eat and die horrible, violent, bloody deaths. No one in their right mind would say any of that was good because it was natural. So, who cares if there are vegan tribes?

  • @rockcityaudio One thing you don't understand, Supermarkets were not invented back in ancient times and they didn't have the technology we have today. So yes, anyone can survive in the wild as lg as they know how to. Back in those times it was trial and error.

  • She says she hasn't had any plastic surgery, what a load of bollocks!!!

  • I bet she's flattened a bit of grass in her time.

  • Hearing her age and then looking at her is astonishing enough. But, when they actually say the year she was born (even tho we can count), just to hear 1938, and then taking another look at her.....*dead* I was born in 88 and feel like I was born in 38!

  • she needs more meat in her diet...if you know what i mean ;)

  • Oh yeah. Total VILF.

  • @megagerdts LOL!

  • Yeah, I am going to naturopathic medical school now and we are learning how that every 10 years, your level of enzymes significantly reduce. There are 45 essential nutrients (meaning you can only get them from outside sources) which include some enzymes. Considering the diet today, decreased nutrient value of the soil, the fact that we cook everything which temps over 118 deg. wet, 150 dry destroys all the enzymes. That's not that hot either. So, yeah..we are terribly under nourished.

  • @emerson24 I am not under nourished.

  • Her smile is priceless. :)

  • I'm 24 and I'd probably date her..

  • Lmfaoooooo this is both hilarious and amazing, but how is she sexy? The woman is adorable, go Mimi wonder if she eats seafood on occasion... tehe

  • Oh my GOD. Seventy one? ....Seriously... Seventy one? Hopefully being vegan will pay off when I'm Seventy one... Holy cow.

  • Holy %$&! She's smoking hot!

  • Nice sample of one. Not to say there's nothing to it, but let's not rule out the possibility that there are people who eat a lot of mean who look this good.

  • Did she say some of the men could have been my daughter? 0:40

  • @jzilla666999 yeah that caught me off guard too... im trying to see some sort of humor in it maybe? idk what that was suppost to mean... :/

  • My mom is meateater, 53 and already gained lots of weight, smoking, in pills, and have lots of pains, I tried to show this to her but she think it's untrue and instead don't wanna listening to me.. Ugh she would never understand it.. And I'm trying to help her.

  • so then why don't all vegans look like her?

  • @kuwaizair Because not all vegans can afford plastic surgery lol

  • Go Mimi! She's such an inspiration.

By the way, does anyone know the name of the news anchor?

  • This woman is in her SEVENTIES!!! She looks like a heavy smoking 30 year old. she is HAWT!! all kinds of gorgeous.

  • .squidoo.com/a-vegetarians-guide-to-survival

  • 0.38

"most of the women could have been my daughter, and some of the men could have been my daughter."

LOL. We have her to thank for showing us the way, especially for showing us that we vegos need to take DHA supplements.

  • Hmm I wonder how I'll look at this age... being vegan since 16 :)

  • @chemicalhalf And it turns out you are 16 and an hour old

  • As a futurist, I say this is pure proof positive of a superior diet and health maximization. I also say its time to turn things around. Let's begin to phase out words like Vegan and Vegetarian (which make them sound like some splinter cult) and change things the other way. Let's start calling the 'other' diets as MEATARIAN or BARBARIAN diets. And start putting these stickers on foods. Time to show barbarity needs to be replaced with intelligence. You can't fight the future. Its a losing battle.

  • @earthacademy I can't tell you how much I LOVE what you wrote here. It's exactly how I've been thinking. Veganism is the norm. Vegan=human. When I watch this video, I see such a radiant and beautiful demonstration of how a human being should look. Alive. Radiant. Smiling. Happy. Healthy. Vegan. I'm excited for my future, seeing this woman, since I also became veg at 30 (and vegan 2 years later). For anyone non-vegan reading this: GO VEGAN TODAY, DON'T DELAY.

  • @joolenka Omnivore = human. Omnivore is the norm and the way we are meant to eat.

  • @joolenka Fuug juu joolenka, am going on a ketogenic diet which means - less than 5% carbs and damn-alot of meat and fat. Problem?

  • @joolenka

So... everything that she is can be attributed to the fact that she's a vegan? Forget her genetics and the rest of her life style... right? LOOOL

  • @Spetsop where did I say forget genetics? you're putting words in my mouth. LOL. Genetics play a role, yes indeed. But veganism strengthens and enhances what Mother Nature already gave us; while a diet filled with animal protein in fact detracts from what Mother Nature endowed us with. It's all been proven. I guarantee you 100% that if Mimi Kirk had not been vegan all these years, she would not look nearly as good as she does. And that's all I was trying to say. :)

  • @joolenka

Well maybe you didn't say "forget genetics" but you certainly had no mention of them at all in your comment! It was purely geared towards veganism. Veganism is hardly the norm for human beings, because throughout evolution we had to rely on meat more and more to sustain the growing populations. Our closest relatives, apes, also consume meat. We've always been eating meat, but what people fail to realize is that we've been eating natural meat, not processed like now!

  • @Spetsop There is no doubt she has amazing genetics! What more do we need to know about her lifestyle by what she chooses to put into her body? In reference to your "meat comment" above; the majority of human beings are quite able to consume and digest both plant and meat based foods. Find out what works for you!

I believe that if more people were open to the idea of Vegatarianism and Veganism, society as a whole would be a lot happier and healthier! :)

  • @JamesShanksify

I don't doubt the fact that if people were more open towards those ideas we would be healthier. I'm just pointing out that it's kind of ridiculous to claim that a person is healthy due to the fact that she eats only plant based foods, and that if others did the same they would be healthier. It's not simply that changing meat is the problem, it's that most of it is chemically laced, as is most plant food too, that's the real issue that people seem to miss.

  • @earthacademy Actually eating meat is the normal diet and what is meant to be eaten. Nice try with the barbarian lables treehugger.

  • Wow!!! I've been interested in going vegetarian and have had some amazing vegetarian food over the years. Don't know if I can do it---but looking at her certainly gives motivation!!

  • aint half bad.

  • 0:36 "‎some of the men could have been my daughter". wtf.

  • @PrehistoricPinup well she is in her seventies bro. :)

  • @PrehistoricPinup pussyfied vegan wussies? j/k

  • No, i´m just vegan and also sexy ;-)

  • Is this real life?

  • YES GO VEGAN :-)

  • @MrVerstaendnis Cool Story Bro. You Mad?

  • WOW. she looks how most people do in their 40's.

  • She is absolutely gorgeous.

  • I would totally do her...not gonna lie.

  • You don't need to eat animal flesh, the people who'll live the best will eat very little-- as in "not a lot of different kinds of food" and no animal flesh, which burdens the system.

  • GO VEG...GO MIMI..

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • One of the easiest things anyone can do is what she revealed: have a smoothie in the morning with greens and fruit in it. THat's one of the easiest things anyone can start doing. You can take the smoothie with you to work...

  • All kidding aside, she seems like a really nice woman.

  • No surgeries, no botox.. She's a true inspiration.

  • Is she breaking those teeth in for shergar

  • Not only adorably beautiful, but she also has a heart.

  • I love Mim!! She's fantastical!!!

  • so inspiring... i've tried 100% raw and it is HARD though. i am very happy to do 100% vegan though and not feel deprived. i do think veganism is the way forward in terms of the way it makes your body feel-- just try a week going vegan and you will feel less bloated and your stomach will shrink.

  • Wow. She looks amazing!

  • Showed my friend this, he guessed her age to be either A) a 40+ year old whose looks are slipping or B) a 50 year old.....WRRROOOONNNNNGG

  • holy moly!! She looks 40 yrs younger than her age ~ nice to hear the Male Anchor is Vegetarian too, i agree.......I always feel great with daily green drinks and plant based diet, husband and I been eating less and less meat (even organic), he does more eggs and sometimes we do alaskan wild salmon and sardines some

  • holy I sure hope I look like her at 50!

  • Beans are my favorite type of protein. I used to love meat until I discovered beans. :)

  • I'd hit it. Then feed it a steak.

  • It is nice to c a person that cares about animals this much, it has helped her health too as we can see she looks great for the age she is!

  • Amazing - I would love to look like her at that age. She;s awesome and her smile is really beautiful.

  • I have been a major junk food-aholic and was starting to feel HORRIBLE in my early 30's! I just started a vegan diet and I wasn't sure if I could do it at first but I've lost 18 pounds in 22 days and feel incredible!!! The first two weeks are tough because you will have cravings but a strange thing happens... you start to crave healthy foods! Then you look back at all the crap you were feeding your body and your eyes are opened! You do not need meat OR dairy...that's what's making us sick!

  • Man I can't believe he's 80 and she's 71!

I'm vegetarian and I doubt I could look that good at 70.

  • Raw gets you to look even better.

  • There's nothin' like a big ol' bowl of steam-fried Schmarngklingtons.

  • all baby! I'm encouraged to try this vegetarian lifestyle. Thank you.

  • I'm sure there's no cosmetic alterations, regardless. Awesome stuff. She looks awesome.

  • gorgeous.

  • Mimi you are beautiful in and out <3

  • wtf i was like eww shes 50...shes fucking gorgeous

  • @condiersea "wtf i was like eww shes 50"

    eww ?

  • @kiribula when he said shes over 50 i was like eww. but when i saw her shes actually pretty. why did you go back in the comments like 8 pages?

  • @condiersea Huh ?

Because I like to read what people have to say on the subject ?

Why else would one read through the messages ?

  • @condiersea "when he said shes over 50 i was like eww"

    Strange lol

    Are you a pre-teen ?

  • @condiersea You're not really 30 are you ? 12 ?

  • @kiribula im not 30 or 12. im 16

  • She looks amazing for 71! I think her youthful looks can be more attributed to her positive attitude to life rather than her diet.

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • Wow....

  • VERY inspirational people in denial about veganism n changing to a raw food diet for healthy living have gotta see this

  • Raw meansno soy?

    Why? Soy is a veggie..hmp,

    anyway, that's pretty incredible,

they shouldve also had a man too ;D

  • @MarmaladeMonster raw means no soy because soy products are cooked/boiled in processing.

  • @SpiritualShow Ah, I see, thanks :)

But what about edamame? Just the plain ol' green beans?

I guess it doesnt matter to me, I doubt I'll ever go raw- I could never give up steamed broccoli :o

  • @MarmaladeMonster I think edemame is steamed, too. I don't plan to go completely raw, either. But I've been making an effort to eat a lot more raw food lately. If you could even have 50% of your diet raw, that would be great:)

  • @SpiritualShow I'm still working on veganism, my mom finally accepted it, so I'm pretty much full vegan now- though I may (unhappily) eat some animal products while visiting family/friends if I cant get out of it, but I do have so much more energy now, I'll try to get more raw foods in my diet when I'm older, it's just so darn healthy!

  • Comment removed

  • @MarmaladeMonster oh, Mimi is going to be on one of the radio shows I host (Namaste Radio) on July 13th if you want to ask her anything on the air:)

Good for you:) I don't have any desire to be completely vegan, but I am conscious of the treatment of animals I eat.

  • YEAH MIMi !! thanks for spreading the health and joy.

  • what a inspiration
