Speaking in tounges? I sometimes think that we're in a pretty bad situation in the Church of England, at least we havn't got this. The speaking in tounges described in Acts means a communication which shows the presence of God, its about how Christianity speaks to all people. This 'speaking in tounges' is just silly.

@pax516 You claim the authority to 'know' what speaking in tongues is. The path to revelation and Christ centredness in not borne of arrogance but humility. Tongues requires a person to surrender their control which those who cling to power are loathe to do.

From what I have read and understand the OEC is a truly socially progressive 'Church' so why when there is so much hate in the world do some mock or criticise someone who is offering Christian love to those disaffected from more 'mainstream' churches.

Lets support a radical approach to 'mass' especially if it brings comfort to the house-bound, sick or disaffected. Well done.
