I saw this in about '74; it was billed as Andy Warhol's 3D Frankenstein. What an over-the-top ordeal. I never saw so many people get sick and leave a theatre as I did that day! Better than Jerry Springer! It was just outrageous... like the be-heading with the garden shears! How about "to create life, you must fuck life!"
I'll never forget going to the theaters in the early 80s to see this in 3D. I was around 10, so this movie had everything a pre-pubescent boy could want - blood, guts, cool things coming at you in 3D, naked women, oh and least we forget Frankenstein!
Huggy Bear told me that the word on the street was that this cinematic opus won NO Academy Awards....not even one Oscar nomination! Where...o where is the outrage??

One of the first gross out movies, along with Warhol's Dracula. Truly disgusting celluloid trash cinema. Well worth watching.

I enjoyed it. It's full of innuendo! Hilarious! Udo Keir and Andy Warhol... a couple of weirdoes coming together!
