Prior to transitioning I wanted nothing to do with myself. I hated myself and I couldn't look in the mirror my entire life- including childhood. I never wanted to experience anything until I was myself. I always knew there was something wrong about me and once I figured it out I started living and loving me! I have never felt such wholeness and happiness!

About your night sweating: Don't stop drinking water you'll smell much worse, if you drink less. You maybe experience that your body is kind of warmer, you don't get cold as fast as before... etc. Maybe a lighter blanket and another matress is all you need.

@thesefouryears I used to work out like twice a month because I was so busy working. But for the past month Ive been working a good 4 times a week in preparation for top surgery on March 2nd :)
I love your love for one another <3 It's beautiful to see that "lesbians" made it work and now a "trans male and his love" can still make it work so beautifully. True inspiration. My partner passed away recently, she was amazing. But she constantly talked about transitioning, and I shut it down, because I was ignorant to the mind set. I thought she was perfect the way she was, and I had no idea the toll it took. <3 Watching you, and your other half go through this with those smiles, priceless.

Hi Guys!! First and foremost…THANK YOU for your videos!! I am a girlfriend to my FTM who is going through the very beginning stages of his transition. My question to Megan is this: I know I will have to be prepared for the hormonal changes within him when he starts T How did you deal with his moodiness, irritability, etc? I am a Capricorn and he is a Gemini, we already bump heads at times but I want to be as understanding and supportive as I can without losing myself through his transition.
@CurlyBeautiful The interesting thing about K's transition is he really hasn't been moody or irritable at all since he's started T. If fact, we argue less as a "straight couple" than we did as "lesbians". I guess it's different for everybody. K has always been super positive and has had a pretty good journey transition-wise... and having such supportive people in our lives DEFINITELY helps.
@CurlyBeautiful I've also observed that the guys that tend to be hung up about being super masculine right away can get impatient obviously... and through that must come irritability. I too am a Capricorn and know the lifestyle well... lol. I guess the best thing for the both of you would be to try and keep patient. Patient with the transition and patient with each other. AND COMMUNICATE. Do mini GrrrLfriend Editions with each other. :) Best of wishes to both of you !

You guys are great. These *girlfriend* vids are just what I was looking for to help my girlfriend understand my transition a little better from a ''girlfriends'' point of view, who has been through similar the same stuff. We have been together for 5 years and We now have a 6 month old son together. We are hoping that when I do transition everyone one is as understanding as your family and friends. I haven't had surgery no, I use a small full double front compression binder from underworks. Surgery is coming sometime in March!
