I always feel like Mika's English is awkward in front of the camera (and yes, I know she's American), like when she said "English school time"....of course, most of the time you hear her speak English is usually when its scripted by non-English speakers for songs (in Mini Moni, for instance). It may also be her valley-girl accent that throws me off xD
