Here is what I don't understand in RPGs. When you pick a thief class, you expect a thief to be not much of a fighter. He is more of a peasant just avoiding guards, and stealing loot, and yet in gameplay in all RPG games, they always turn out to be some kind of back stabbing assassin or quick fighter.

The only game that I know you play as a thief and you can't really fight guards that well (Because ur thief), is Thief: The Dark Project and Thief: The Metal Age.

Umm, the Old Hero is actually one of the easiest bosses in the game, especially with Wanderer.

The secret is, The Old Hero, is blind. Not Deaf. Fight him in soul form, with the wanderer, with light armor and low enough equip burden to move freely. Then, all you have to do, is walk. That's it, just walk. Follow him, two hand your weapon, slash his legs, and slowly walk away as he freaks out in the opposite direction. when he turns around, slowly creep around his feet. Easy.

@MrRko4Life101 Lol:P It did the same to me when i first started , i found that after the 1st two stages of boletaria , it gets a bit easier because by then my reflexes and my senses kicked in , and i got better gear , more stats and stuff , but you can always replay levels to farm souls then you can go on to the next , its easier that way , but really it gets easier when you get good gear. After its just a matter of habit. Have fun man its a greeeaat game want wait for Dark Souls!

It's not hard as in you don't have to have lightning-fast reaction speed or anything like that, but you have to concentrate all the time when you play it. If you chat with your friends while playing, you will die even to the easiest enemies. This game has a "high damage, low health" mentality and it punishes you every time you die. That, and the solid, balanced gameplay makes it so challenging and fun.

@A1R5N1P3R Not to be rude, But If the game is anything like demons souls, I don't care. Specially since I beat demons souls in 15 hours with only 16 deaths. Believe me or not, I found it extremely easy. Only had trouble with the man-eater boss, Ledges in in 4-2 ( Ones with gold skellies, Giant swords.), and King allant. The rest of the game was a cake walk. This game is not going to be worse because It's on more than one console. You may feel that way, But that is a complete opinion.

The first play through is the default difficulty, Even with black world tendency, this game is not as hard as the community lead me to believe. It was Amazingly enjoyable in the " Look before you leap" and Take my time way. Just because the game is coming to multiple platforms will not make this game any less enjoyable for me. You enjoy this game? Be happy there is a sequel at all.

@TheGamingWalnuts Because the multiplat FF13 was difficult... The xb360 is limited in disc space, hence smaller game files. If you found Demon's Souls easy at times it's because it is, but other RPG's of this gen are so simple and child-like that they are unplayable.
