  • that fucking music that plays through the whole video deppresses me

  • My department:

    White- Chief

    Red- Lieutenant

    Yellow- Firefighter

    Smurf Blue- Explorer

  • what was the webisode called where they all face their fears and they think there's like a werewolf or something wandering around the station. Franco passes out from the sight of his own blood and they all start puking at the end cause Lou eats bad cookies. I can't find it anywhere and i'm dying to see it, it's hilarious

  • I dont know how many ladder 62's they had for this tv show, but one of them ended up in Illinois, Robert Park Fire Dist has it. I have a video of it, if anyone wants to check it out, more to come soon. I love this show and its great my fire dept has a ladder from this show

  • im just a civilian girl whatd i know, but loooooove rescue me! firefighters are hot no matter what colors theyre wearing (i luv bunker gear most ;)!

  • This show sucks I saw this episode where some guys where these guys and some hot chicks were making fun of a paralyzed guy it was the grossest thing I've seen on television.

  • @captaingangsta29 Some scenes from Dexter might be the grossest things on TV. This show is usually really good.

  • Putting out a fire saves more lives than the actually primary search does but all the glory still goes to the men who search. The men on the handlines can't leave until everybody is out so they have balls too its not just the search team.

  • FDNY- uses all black helmets, with black shields for Engine Companies, Red shields for Truck Companies. As far as I know white for chiefs and Blue for FDNY EMS

  • @superbuff861

Ems wears orange medics have Paramedic on the side, Ems Officers wear white and we wear tan-yellowish bunker gear to fires.

    Blue is con-ed lol

  • @superbuff861 FDNY uses all black traditional style helmets except for Chiefs who have white helmets. Fire Marshalls have red helmets. The shield's go black for Engine Co., Red for Trucks, Blue for Rescue Co., Yellow for Squad Co., Chiefs have special gold leaf shields that will say either Battalion, deputy, etc. Chief on them. FDNY EMS has Modern style orange helmets.

  • thats hilarious about the lighter lol

  • My dept. Chief/ assistant chief/ deputy chief white helmet with white plate. White bunker coat with black bunker pants. Leutenats ( never spell that right) red helmets with black and white plate, yellow turnout gear. FF's black helmet with black and white plate yellow turnout gear

  • Denis Leary - One of the very few comedians who can make a TV show that's funny, dramatic and action filled. It's brillantly kickass.

  • What is that that Rivera picks up at 0:47?

  • I beleive it's his helmet cause if you look he dosen't have one on I think it fell off when he hit the wall

  • @MinisodeNetwork

    his helmet

  • @goPre16 Ah. Thank you both.

  • @MinisodeNetwork his helmat

  • @MinisodeNetwork his hat

  • @MinisodeNetwork his helmet

  • this is not funny as the other ones

  • @michaelxxx9

The words... "duh" .. come to mind.

  • lol, so i love how everyone is saving a kid. then Lou walks by with the dog :P

  • at the firehouse i work at all our gear matches wil FDNY

  • you can download all the eppisodes from the season like that one on your ipod from itunes

  • in my dept. ciefs wear all white turnout gear with a white helmet

    firefighters red helmet

jrs- green helmet with prob shield

  • unrealistic, but yet very nice.

  • Yeah there was no man watching the guy on the ladder, they didnt stay close inside the fire thats what i saw that was really obvious

  • Hey guys, enough with the -1 yeah? Dudes got a point. First off. No masks on. Look, I understand that it's hollywood, but jeebus, These guys should be bald by now. Nobody wears their Nomex, and you really don't want to go slamming through doors and toiling around because floors are their to break into a nice lovely hole.

  • The first time I forgot to pull up my nomex around my facepiece, I thought WWIII had started. I am a know-nothing or no-nothing probie, though I can promise you, as well as the Lt. that caught me that I will always have my hood up and secured at a scene.

  • 1. This is actually filmed in NYC not hollywood

    2. they all had masks on but denis and thats because he had it on the girl witch you are supposed to do, after all its their life your saving.

    3. EVERYONE WEARS THEIR NOMEX

    4. they are most likely trapped and slamming through the door and taking the chance of falling through the floor but most likely not is better than just staying in the room and faceing death.

  • You never, EVER, take your mask off. Ever. I don't care what your common sense says.

Your a firefighter. Modern day training tells us that you come first. If you take your mask off to give someone a breath guess what, your going to inhale nothing but chemicals. In which you are going to probably roast your lungs, and create a situation involving rescuing a firefighter AND a victim.

If the door wont open? Haligan the hinges. Set of irons for a reason, brother.

    "Hollywood" is a nickname.

  • @liljokersaywhat

naw, bro. we were never trained to take our masks off. what good are you to the vic if YOU collapse from smoke inhalation? then they have to dispatch the rapid intervention team to save YOUR ass. don't think so, bud.

  • The fire effects in this show are so freaking amazing, musical score works so well with this one as well.

  • These are real fires " Inside the Fire on 'Rescue Me'" Probably the first or second video on Related videos will proove it

  • Oh I knew they were real in effects I just ment the fires in general look so amazing.

  • my fd helmet sceme is

    Chief,deputy,asst- white w/ white shield

    Capt,Lt- black w/ white sheild

    Firefighters-black w/ white shelid

Jrs-black w/ orange shelid chiefs are the only ones that have a rank on their shelid all others their rank is on their bunker coat, I'm from Yantic,CT

  • at my house its chiefs white capt red lt blue firefighter yellow and juniors black

  • @ my fd

    Cheif white helemet/shield/bunker

    capt. white helmet/shield blk bunker

    lt white shield blk hemet/bunker

    f/f black helemet/shield/bunker

    candidates blk helmet/bunker yellow shield

  • cant wait to be a firefighter how old do u have to be?

  • I love the music with this. Do they have a soundtrack for this?

  • ok now im lost shouldnt helemt scemes be like clear texting and incident command for mutual aid purposes if one department has a JR that yellow and the other dept is LT yellow should there be a national standard in place

    ours is

    chief -white

    capt. and LT- red

    yellow-non certified

    black certified

    blue -heavy rescue

    orange- hazmat team

  • Volunteer

    Chief & Ass. Chief- White

    Capt. - Red

    Lt.- Red

    Safety - Orange

    Firefighters- Black

    Jr.- Black with blue stripes

  • ass chief, made me lol

  • at my house its

    cheifs = white

capt= black with white sheild and 4 white bars on the back

LT= black with white sheild and 2 white bars in the back

Firefighter/ ems officer = black helmet and 2(LT) 4(CAPT) blue bars on back of helmet

    firefighter= black helmet

    probie = red

    jrs = yellow

    emt only = blue helmet

safty officer = blacket helmet with 4 green bars on back

  • whats in the fittest test that you need to pass? in a few years, i plan on becoming a firefighter.

  • Very cool to hear about all these helmet schemes, never knew there were so many options!

  • For my company the helmet scheme is as follows

Yellow- Firefighter all with rockers to designate officers up to captain

    Red- Engineers

White-Chiefs from battalion to head chief

Jr Firefighters and non scba have a red stripe down the center and across the back. along with the rockers are not on untill you get firefigher 1 and VRT

  • I work with a volunteer fire station. our station's helmet scheme is as of follows:

    white = captains, chief

    red = lieutenant, Sargent

    yellow = safety officer

    black = fire fighter

  • were u from man i want to be on limestone volunteer

  • Lincoln county. i have been a member since March.

  • cool i've got 3 more years till i can get on

  • They definately vary from station to station, company to company.... In some stations not only do the colors of the helmets vary, but the style of the helmet can also change entirely. My station's scheme on our helmets is White: Officer Black: Firefighter Red: Probie/Junior FF One of our mutual aid station's schemes is White Cairn's helmet: Officer Black Cairn's helmet: Firefighter Yellow Cairn's helmet: Special (EMT, Extrication Tech, Etc.) Red Bullard helmet: Probie/Junior
  • my primary company has white helmets for officers and yellow helmets for firefighters. juniors have two red stripes running from the front to the back. probationary firefighters have a giant letter "P" on the back and those that are limited to exterior have a giant "E".

my second company has just the white and yellow, similar to the one above, with an American flag centered on the back to show that you are interior qualified.

  • The Station I transferred from had: White: Chief and Asst. Chief Yellow: Captain Red: Lieutenant Black: Firefighter/Engineer The station I'm at now White: Chief and Asst. Chief Red: Captain Orange: Lieutenant Yellow: Firefighter/Engineer/Junior FF In a neighboring department, each station has a different color for each stations firefighters. White is still the standard for Chief and Assistants...
  • @ellenborovfd1934 man you are right at my station cheifs have white, capt;s and lts have red, firefighters have yellow, juniors have black, and our probies have yelow with a probie crestent

  • helmet color ranks differ for some fire departments, the oen i worked at blue was cadet black was engineer yellow was fire fighter red was captain and white wass chiefso id dosent metter its different everyware you go

  • i don't get why so many people are getting all bitchy about the inaccuracies of the show. it's hollywood! they aren't going to get everything perfect.

  • Exactly.Thank You!

  • @killerlarryusmc Because, when your a firefighter you want to see things done right. It shows respect and what its really like.

  • @paraawesome yea, but i decided not to make a big deal about it being done right. i learned that with military movies (Army brat for 19 years and Marine for 4, so i know what's right and not). at first, they used to drive me crazy! not anymore.

  • @killerlarryusmc yeah me too. I just thought id throw that out there. To me it is kinda fun to see fire dept. movies and tv shows and find things thats wrong with them.

  • Lou's shield is different because he's a captain. dipshit. Yes & No (FDNY Scheme) is... Black shield with the following insert colors: Black with white numbers is Engine Red with white numbers is truck Blue with white numbers is Rescue Yellow with white numbers is squad company If you're an officer of one of the above companies, swap the lettering and insert colors. So Lieutenant "lou" Shea would have a White shield with Red numbers as he is a ladder officer.

  • You would think by now they would have worked out all of the inaccuracies...I can deal with the Pierce Rig and the Tahoe Bat. Chief Car but Lou's helmet having the wrong type of shield on it...COMMON

  • any really big rescue me fans. Here's a trivia question for you. Help me out. :)

  • actual song. c'mon c'mon by the Von Bondies off of the pawn shoppe heart album

  • my life has been plagued with alot more of pain and suffering than is common for most people. i can really relate to this show with my life. just to see others going through such extreme pain, sometimes being on the verge of suicide. being able to relate to what they're feeling. especially when i feel like i have every reason to end my life and no reasons to stay. this show really means alot to me.

  • hope everything is okay now and glad this show could help.

  • Wonder who's going to die in Season 5? Season 1-Tommy's Mom, Billy

    Season 2-Conner

    Season 3-Johnny

    Who's next?

  • season 5- me =[

  • i hope its not me

  • SPOILER MINISODENETWORK DIES

  • aHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • Was This The Last One? I Missed One A Few Weeks Ago....

  • yep this was the last minisode

  • Anybody that loves a tv show with great writing will not diss this minisode nor the regular the season so all you haters that dont know shit about good show biz shut your mouth & pay attention!!! You might learn something other than played out comedy sitcoms that are very predictable. PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • are the minisodes every week or are they random because i havent seen one in a few weeks?

  • this is one of the best shows on tv...it makes the sharpest turns with great dialog dripping with sarcasm and irony.

  • i love irony - it makes my shirts look nice

  • very punny.

  • Lou maybe my favorite character from anything of all time.

  • 2ND!!!!!!!!!

  • wow this minisode is awesome!I like the music too,its so cool, and it goes together so well, very well done.nice one MinisodeNetwork.

  • i don't know buddy. feels like the writers are smoking too much weed. getting lazy writing lines that they decide to go for slow mo music video approach.

  • Apparently the writers took last week off.

  • haha lol... =)

  • Muahahahahaha .

  • this is not real. they are not real fire fighters. wvery ones now that

  • Your a fag. frickin retard. why dont you read the description? Its a tv show, and its the best tv show around, so shut up.

  • This is a trippy video to watch after watching the "Clue" minisode...

  • Rescue Me ist am besten! Aber kann ich nicht es immer in Deutschland sehen....

  • Yeah , english man .

  • Warum nicht downloaden Sie, falls Sie mit Wildbäche?

  • It was too short. I miss Rescue Me.

  • fuck you pussy everybody smokes...it takes the edge off...And its a goddamn show, and a good goddamn show a that. So who cares if the fires arn't exactly realistic.

  • that's why it's a TV show dude. if they made this show too realistic you'd never see what they were doing in the fire.

  • It doesn't happen this way. It's a hollywood fire. First you wouldn't be able to see and there wouldn't be a little fire here and there. None of those that they took out would be breathing.

  • Is Lou holding a Dog, and petting it??? LOL

  • I love when Rescue Me does these long instrumentals. It makes an emotional situation even more emotional. Does anyone know what this music is? It adds beauty to even a frantic fire. I would appreciate it if anyone knew.

  • Thank you, Minisode Network, for bringing this to us each week.

  • Thank you DDV, for always coming by and putting in the good words!

  • Wow it's in widescreen? I just got a widescreen laptop and this is the first video I have watched on youtube that actually went completely across the screen.

  • Wigitty wide!

  • hahaha pure irony

  • do you know how long they'll do the minisodes @minisode network?

  • This is actually the last one - but more full length stuff will be hear sooner than u know it.

  • where is black sean?

  • I wondered the same thing.

  • Not the best but still good.. thanks for the upload!!!

  • "It's hard not to smoke when you eat smoke for a living."

This is definitely the flip side to last week's episode, but it's still good. I really liked Lou with the doggie!

  • That was not that great. The whole episode was a montage...but I did get a kick out of all of them leaning on the truck smokin' lol

  • The irony of it all. Let's smoke.

  • i know, i was thinking the same thing. why would you even WANT to right after that? and it seems wierd that fire fighters would smoke at all. that's almost like a doctor smoking.

  • all firefighters do it after going in a burning building. my dad used to do it(now hes cheif)He said it was the only thing keeping him sane after rushes like that

  • i'm sure not ALL firefighters smoke...

  • Wow..comparing fire fighters smoking, to doctors smoking...that's the crappiest analogy I've ever heard. They aren't diagnosing patients, they're fighting fires. The breath in smoke all day, what's a cigarette going to do? Oh... and btw. Most Doctors & Nurses in the medical field smoke too. why? to take the edge off. Because when you have to tell people their loved ones have passed on you'd need to go have a smoke too. Speaking of which. I'm gonna go have a smoke right now.

  • 0_o well, someone's a lil cranky today...

  • 1st.. <<<<I hate when people do this
