I talked to a detective, and had mentioned why people think recording trains is a act of terrorism and he told me that terrorist record things while planning their attack. That is why when cops stop you they mention terrorism. They are only looking after the U.S.

The cops hassled us a few nights ago for railfanning, just after some people were trespassing all over the tracks. Just bad luck, I guess. D: Told us we couldn't hang out near the ex-Southern signal tower. Now how are we supposed to tell when a train's coming?! xD
