  • @USAlilia Thank you so much! I finally found it. It's beautiful

  • The greatest, the best, a stellar figure of great arabic music

  • haza knz 7fz 3lih

  • i love her

  • How silly to raise all these political, ethnological, religious differences while the great Fairouz sings, with all due respect, it is like spitting in a church, or in a mosque or a synagogue, we have enough troubles to forget even for a few minutes in Fairouz presence, so relax and enjoy it , it is a precious moment.

  • @samtam2

I AGREE WITH YOU. JUST INJOY THE SONG AND STOP THE CRAP.

  • written by Jobran Khalil Jobran, compsed by Mohamed Abdel Wahab*

  • if you are a proud Palestinian ,then its good for you , yes i was harsh with you ,but i want you to wake up . most of bad or negative comments towards Lebanese comes from Palestinians , is that a coincidence or what . this site is for fairouz . so please stop sending bad comments .

  • Thanks for posting. Correction: The music was written by Abdelwahab. The lyrics are from a poem by Gibran Khalil Gibran. best regards,

  • Fairuz sang for me in Cairo, when I was born. Her voice and song will always be in my heart.

  • @rhubarbatif it was composed by the master Mohammed Abdul Wahhab not the Rahbani Brothers.

  • @shima6ri Merci Shima pour le rectificatif !

  • @rhubarbatif avec plaisir

  • @rhubarbatif its not arabic song its lebanese phoenician

  • @lion69heart2 "Is not arabic is Phoenician"?? hahahahaha God Bless your brain...

  • @yeee2007 fairouz songs are so different than the typical arabic songs ,the quality of her voice ,the music and the lyrics are so different , may be this song got an arabic spirit ,but most of fairouz songs got the Phoenician ,christian byzantine ,eastern ,western touch and as well arabic spirit ................and with all that ,we call it Lebanese .........

  • @mima1234561 Wake up and enjoy the music... What does this has to do with Phoenicians or religeons?! hahaha you just make me laugh and feel pity 3layk ya Lebanese enta ya Abaday hahahaha

  • @yeee2007 you laughed because your primitive brain couldn't understand what i was trying to explain to you. .

  • @mima1234561 btw Fairouz is originally from Nazareth so that proves you wrong!!!!

  • @ahmadfahoum mmmm OH YA and um kalthoom from china ...... closed minded people like you are always trying to put Lebanese down , and we always get up ....HIGH . get a life

  • @mima1234561 Wikipedia smartass

  • @ahmadfahoum not surprised to have evil wicked comments from a Palestinian ,you destroyed Lebanon and before ruined Amman in the early 70s ,and last you sported saddam to invade Kuwait the country that supported PLO financially ,and did you say thank you ???? off course not ,instead you turned against them . who is next ??? you people should stop wasting your energy on hatred others , and should used it to fight Israel .

  • @mima1234561 WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING ABOUT FAIROUZ??? why did you change the subject to me being a Palestinian, I am a Palestinian and you can't imagine how proud I am, you should be a proud Lebanese too, as for the PLO, I am number hater, you can't imagine how much I hate them, I support any Israeli leader that tries to remove them from existence, so you shouldn't include me when you talk about the PLO I'd rather Israeli represent me than those people!!!

  • @mima1234561

Israel destroyed Lebanon you filthy Falangist...and we have not forgotten Sabra and Chatilla...I suppose you would say Hizbullah destroyd Lebanon as well...the only people to have any sense of REAL patriotism, not just waving the flag...let us see how you fight for your offshore oil...We will always kneel to Fairouz for the songs she dedicated to us...we have been fighting and dying for ninety years, we dont need lessons from Israeli collaborators, Lebanese or Palestinian

  • @ram321z If u havent forgotten Sabra and Chatilla let it be a lesson for you not to spread your corruption and evil around the Arabic world. U caused so much trouble in Jordan in the 70s and King Hussein knew exactly how to deal with terrorists like u. U then destroyed Lebanon after everything we offered for u.Have you learnt your lesson? No.U supported the evil invasion on Kuwait by Saddam. Now u are spreading your evil in Lebanon. Deal with your own problems and liberate your country instead.

  • LOL, amazing how there are so many haters and failures in here...

To the Muslims btw, can you stop being all "OMG! It was a conspiracy against us", yourselves aren't even respecting your own religion so don't blame it on others. ^.^

Fayrouz is good and it's coming from someone who hates almost every single Arabic song, because 97% of the songs are meaningless and tasteless.

  • eat shit you silly idiot!

  • It looks that u are not only a translator but also a poet..

is this verse by Jibran? Thanx for telling us!

U know that i have a difficulty (not in understanding the classical Arabic) but because Fairuz's long tones of voice covers the syllables of the words...

I would be grateful if u write the lines in Arabic!!

    Many thanx in Advance

  • hi

    bravo you have all rihgt

  • The nightingale is heard amidst the fields pouring tunes

In the space that the hills breathed a puff of sweet basil

    Don't fear, my girl

For the stars conceal the information

And the fog of night in that vineyard covers the secrets

    Do not fear

    For the bride of jinn

    In her enchanted cave

Slept sweetly and was on the verge being hidden from the pitch black eyes

  • Fairouz - The Night Became Calm

    The night became calm

And in the cloak of calmness was hidden the dreams

    The full moon widened

And in the moon the eyes watched for the days

So come my daughter of the fields

Let us visit the vine of lovers

Perhaps we will extinguish the flame of desire with the drops of juice
