You can play on the 14th fret of the G string or you can use the A string harmonic on it's 7th fret which is what I did in this video! It's the same note.

try to use all 4 fingers on the solo and any other song u play...and figure out octaves too because they help by just changing up and down strings..not up and down fretboard like you were doing here...

its much easier....
