I was going back and forth on which one to get. Doing my research, was glad i found your tutorial. I can't believe how easy it look's! Ive been tring to learn stencil making on photoshop for my airbrushing business and find it's very confusing. I have couple question's....can you do a tutorial on how to upload a photo and make a stencil? Also, where to purchase the silhouette for the best price?
I am thinking and buying the best cutting machine. Top one is Silhouette because you can use the graphics from your computer (right?). And when I compared the price Silhouette cost cheap rather other machine. hmmmm and now you are demonstrating how to create own die cut. That's makes me think again to buy this. I hope you can post more videos on how to use Silhouette
I have a silohouette sd and do not have any of the options that you have. Such as, open trace and knife tool. I see you are running a Mac machine. I have windows machine. does that matter?
@uneekcrazy You should still have the same options. I bet you need to update the software. Go to the Silhouette Machine site and download the most current version. They put out updates all the time and I think you'll be impressed with how powerful the free software is!
I completely agree with your reasons for getting the silhouette versus the cricut... I don't understand why people, when having this choice would ever choose cricut. TFS, I'm waiting for the Cameo to arrive in Europe. Can't wait to get started.
THANK YOU! I am a new owner of a Silhouette and wondered how to do this! You made it super simple and i love it!
Also, I have a cricut expression and while i've had fun with it, i am sick to death of cartridges taking up so much space and like you said.....buying a $40-$50 cartridge for 1 or 2 images. I love the Silhouette Studio software as well-very user friendly and I have a Mac, so i can use it now! thanks again!
