  • Oh there is the Deutsche Lufthansa airliner Lockheed SuperConstellation! One sister's Lufthansa model crashed in Brazil 1959 under flight from Germany. So,air transport is the most safety human communication branch . Mr.Teddy Parker, who is the singer on this film was born in Czechoslovakian Republic Brno 1938 April 17 as Klaus Herwig.Next this town was under name Brunn in the Hitler's Boehmen und Maehren Protectorate...

  • Welcome To Teddy Parker the twistin' german play-boy. Nachtexpress nach St-Tropez is really interesting how german Schlager adapted american and british trend.

  • they played this on a screen before a Morrissey concert.

  • Ist diese liederer Peter Alexander?????

  • Nice.

    Thanks for posting!

  • fantastic the plane makes it

  • love this vidddddddd

  • Did they not have health and safety in those days? I like it on 46 seconds when he just pops up from the bottom of the screen hilarious!

  • OMG...This shouldn't happen to a Lockheed Constellation! LOL

  • WOW, very cool! I live in Rio de Janeiro and loved this scopitone - all those fraulein dancing twist in a plane are so charming and evocative of days where it was possible to be innocent and hot at same time. And that mix of images from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Pacific Islands is funny and delightful. Thanks for sharing with us!

PS: that "sex in the beach" is really a fisherman from Posto 6 [a lifeguard place at the end of beach] prepairing his net before fishing...

  • ive been to amsterdam from the uk on a plane similar to that one,was extra scary

  • Hello,

I think the singer may be a german artist called Teddy Parker. He had a big success with a song called "Nachtexpress nach Saint Tropez".

  • teddy's real name is claus herwig and he recorded under many names.

  • oh YES!

  • Sex on the beach at 0:34????

  • HAHHA.LoL.God viewer gotta admit=D

  • Yeah, i think is the first video clip with subliminal content jajajajaja

  • hahahahah very nice man ! eagle eye !

  • This reminds me of Flying Down To Rio, with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. An homage maybe? Copacabana still is a great place!

PS Some parts of the video are not Copacabana!!!!!!!!!

  • ah yes the swingin' ring a ding days, days before 911..when it was common to dance on the planes wings..they wont let us do that now, we tried and we got arrested.

  • ... that copacabana rimes in savings account (!) is so bizarre - must be possible only in german - makes me burst out in laughing ... 'cause the singer obviously never was conscious about this crazy clash, but found himself certainly very trendy ...

  • copacabana

  • wixxer

  • its a shame that now a days copacabana is a very dangerous place with many thief and prostitutes at night.

i only hope that it could become (once again) a calm secure place....

  • a novel way to polish the wings.

  • Lol - I miss the old days when women would just stand on an airplane wing and shimmy...

  • @antoniosoul Damn those FAA regulations.

  • Teddy Parker, Stewardess(lovely), The Connie of Lufthansa going to Rio, and Brazil!

The flag carrier of Brazil is VARIG...

  • Teddy Parker I guess :)

  • hahahahaha the part when he tries to catch the woman's hand is mind bogglingly funny!

  • awesome xD

  • lufthansa

  • remember the lufthansa heist?

  • The plane is gorgeous. It's a Lockheed Constellation.

  • It's the Constellation. It had a real hard time of getting airborne.

  • I'm not surprised with all those ladies dancing atop of it.

  • Well I'm not surprised with all those women on the wings.

  • Well I'm not surprised with all those women on the wings.

  • The swingin stewardesses of Scopitone Airways

  • Looks fun.

  • great video! there was a guy who used to sell scopitone vids at the wfmu record fairs in NYC

  • Oddly enough,Dion's on the plane,shooting his "Ruby,Ruby" scopitone.

  • where is Dion? what does that mean?

  • That's hilarious. Knowing the low-budget quality of these things.. you are probably right. Forget about old MacGrurry.

  • Yes, it's Teddy Parker from Germany with "In Copacabana", released on record in 1963. He had a couple of hits in the 60s and 70s, did some movies and was a radio DJ for some time. He's 68 now.

  • Pimpin' ain't easy
