@antinominianist I agree...I've been thinking about it for a whuile, how they show off and treat robots, specifically androids like silly toys without having people realize how incredible they are, how technology could reach the point of giving them some sort of sentience. Amazing piece of technology, but unfortunately it's kind of difficult to actually assess how amazing it is just judging by Disneyland's incredibly lame show. All of this B.S. with the actor calling various people on the phone while Asimo just sort of stands there doing nothing. And I kept thinking, OK, is Asimo just running a script through this whole thing or is he responding to voice commands? Seems like it was scripted. I wanted his TRUE abilities to be shown, not just run a lame script.

ive been there to see the show a while back. Super Cheesy show, but i still suggest seeing it in person if you get the chance, its an incredible piece of technology to see live. looking at this video still blows my mind.
