  • God bless you and your family. I'm 35 was diagnosed last year. This hurts physically and emotionally. I teach so I stand up a lot. Don't know how much more I can take.

  • I was diagnosed with JRA at 15 months (I'm now 30). It frustrates the hell out of me when ADULTS say, "I have arthritis in my (insert body part(s) here, so I know how you feel." No, you don't, and it's immensely insulting to me and your little Gavin. Speaking from first hand experience, he's going to be just fine in life. I've had 23 surgeries, but guess what..I also have a master's degree and am surrounded by an amazing family and wonderful friends. If u ever want to talk, contact me...

I have two daughters 15 and 7 and my young son David who is 4,my daughter shelby who is 7 has as the doctor calls are growing pains,I just want to say its great to see your little man has such a loving family around him and we wish him the very best. God bless.

  • I've had juvenile arthritis since last January. It's awful, and I feel his pain.

  • he's such a strong fella! Having had arthritis and ulcerative colitis since I was 14 I certainly know the pain he goes through, but I definitely am not as brave as he is!

  • Gavin is amazing! Keep up the good work! I have my own hero, my son Colin who is 6 has JRA. He is strong also. I admire them so much.
