  • @JazZappaLemon It's the blues. It's a love hate thing.

  • The amazing man playing the Harmonica is my Father! ( Steve Wynn Hoard) Im very excited that i have found this=D im always looking for bits of my fathers past.. Thnak you for posting!

  • Buddy was ahead of his time as was Jimmy. Thanks 4 post!

  • To all the comments that are like the guitar is out of tune!!! The slide has the option of hitting notes in key even is the guitar is out of tune, but being the expert musicians they are choose to hit slightly out of pitch for a different effect. Buddy Guy is also bending slightly over and under pitch to mirror the effect. I think the problem is that your ignorance stems from how poorly this generation of music has nurtured your taste and perception of quality art.

  • @Fruscianteistheman "There are no wrong notes, only notes in wrong places"-Miles Davis

  • Amazing.

Have you please got the song he does with stills on this - love is coming home/love has gone away....

  • RIP.... BUDY MILES.... AMAZING NICE GROOVE AND STYLE....

  • What happened to "Texas" ?? I've heard of musicians playing when they are

high, but this is redicalus. I LIKE THE FRENETICISM OF GUY'S playing,

but again give some galdang structure to the piece!

  • buddy miles is bomb

  • buddy miles ladies and gentlemen

  • i would like to kick this bass player in the balls,he sucks beyond belief.

  • That is a cool move with the cymbal at 1:53.

  • This is a great video, quality wise.

  • Damn! I should have been named Buddy!

  • Truly a little slice of music history.....it doesn't get much better than Miles and Guy cuttin loose...TY for the post From deep in the heart of Texas / Fats

  • Great !!- Buddy Miles coulda been huge- especially with the band on Expressway to Your Skull!- what happened?

  • Great classic video. The rest of you children should go home and have mommy wipe your nose and change your diaper. Neither MUN7001 or tomitstube have enough class to even know what they are talking about. Buddy Miles is what the video is about.

  • cool.

  • Damn, Buddy Miles is such a good singer.

  • The great Glenn Ross Campbell on steel guitar from The Misunderstood and Juicy Lucy bands. Whew!

  • Goog God, looks like he could crush the entire kit any any second...a great musician.

  • lol Buddy Guy's legendary faces are priceless

  • my grandfather used to jam with buddy miles when buddy was in the gypsies, pretty intense

  • who was ur grandfather?

  • ohh man that note at 1:08 is perfect

  • it appears they were cut in from some other, very boring piece of concert footage. or an art gallery.

  • @RudyVanGee Im enjoying this music and im sitting in the exact same manner at my desk listening.

  • @Specklepirch if this is a reference to my comment above, i'm just joking around. glad you liked it

  • @RudyVanGee it' a rainy Monday morning in an abandoned linoleum factory west of London, I have whole concert on dvd, Zeppelin, Colosseum, Eric Clapton, ect....called "Supershow" everyone looks and acts like that on the 500+ concert dvds I have f/ back then, watch the Deep Purple one f/ Germany

  • doesn't get much better than this.

  • Im not sure what I like better,Buddy playing the Guild, or the Fender. The Guild has that warm tone, and in this clip,he just makes that Fender scream. This was a time when even Clapton bowed down to Buddy.

  • Great, vintage Buddy and Buddy.

  • best drummer/singer in da worldah

  • I miss you so much Buddy, I kiss your picture every time I come to your house! :D As always, this motherfucker amazes me. Too bad most of you didn't know him as I did. :P

  • I don't know how a drummer can be so on point especially while playing the drums at the same time. Thats amazing

  • so.. you honestly hear the voice and guitar in the same pitch?

  • what i honestly hear is some great musicians working out. i just don't see how you could watch this thing and get hung up on guitar tuning, that's all.

  • the guitar is out of tune...

  • this is your comment...seriously?

  • it sounds damn good out of tune

  • alot of times in these older videos the tape makes instruments sound sort of out of tune. i think it sounds raw and fucking amazing if you ask me

  • @dacapes

your mind is out of tune.....

  • Damn!!!! Hot hot clip. Thanks for post RVG!

  • You got it man, thanks for taking time out to watch!

  • thanks for watching it, buddy miles makes sweating in a tight ass, hot pink shirt seem cool.

  • if playing with hendrix doesn't make you cool enough i don't know what will definatly a musical geneiuos sad to hear he passed

  • Buddy was already cool before playing with Mike Bloomfield or Jimi Hendrix, which is why they both wanted to play with him.

  • I couldn't agree more. Glad the Buddys could brighten your day.

  • i have a link to a boot if you want it mate,

Jimi Hendrix (w/Jim Morrison, Buddy Miles & Johnny Winter) Woke Up This Morning & Found Myself Dead 1968

give me a shout if you want it?

  • nice shirt Buddy LOL!!!!

  • buddy guy hendrix without the feedback and effects and of course the purposley smooth yet frightening changes of mode, hendrix enjoyed the people enjoying him.

  • The last of the FINEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Truer words have NEVER been spoken.

  • I miss ya buddy, even though I never met you.

  • RIP Buddy Miles..to the gigs with junior brown.. you will be missed..thanks for the time you spent talking to me.. Heaven got a great drummer, singer and all around person yesterday..

  • 1:08 What a bend!!!!!! great emotion.

  • damn the tone on buddy guy's guitar stings you.... love it!

  • amazing

  • Doesnt look like Jack Bruce. Throughout Supershow Bruce was playing his Gibson bass. That guy is playing an upside down Fender bass.

  • fair enough. you're the groovebassist

  • Who are the other musicians playing with the two Buddys???

  • only one i can guess is Jack Bruce on bass.

  • looks like it's Charlie Musselwhite on harmonica. i could be wrong, but it would make a lot of sense.

  • That's Glenn (Fernando) Campbell on steel guitar, so I guess it's the 1969 version of the Misunderstood. Steve Hoard on harp, Chris Mercer on tenor Maybe Nic Potter on bass ?

  • i'm pretty sure you're right! awesome...buddys with misunderstood...gotta love it

  • Comment removed

  • Buddy Miles and Buddy Guy, what an amazing combination. Thanks for posting this great video.

  • I agree. No Problem. Thanks for watching.

  • Powerful!!! Damn thats raw.

  • I think the entire band had a mental orgasm while playing that one. The entire 1969 Buddy Guy Supershow is just absurd - especially stormy monday. I did not know music could be this good!

  • right on, buddy

  • Always liked Buddy Miles. Buddy Guy is great too.

  • One of the best and passionate guitarsoloes I've ever heard. The singing of Buddy Miles is also outstanding..

  • who is that playing guitar?

  • BUDDY GUY, HE's A BAD BAD MAN

  • maybe the best ever buddy guy

  • the most underrated drummer.he is my idol for groove drumming.i love his voice.i have a few of his solo albums from the early 70's real good stuff.he has a kick ass horn section on these albums

  • expressway to your skull, electric church are beyond belief. the guy should have recorded much more. check out the electric flag if you haven't already.

  • i have the one electric flag album.i'm trying to get my band to do a cover of grooving is easy.i'm also trying to get them to do runaway child(lil miss nothin)

  • This is "real" blues.

  • i think he sings the blues way too high. but still nice

  • This video is awesome, it reminds me of the great time I had working with him.

  • I was fortunate to work with Buddy in Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Fl for two weeks in 2000 and Buddy and his band were awsome, It will stand in my mind forever. He gave me the best compliment I have ever had.
