Most of it invloves using a smokin hot babe as "bait" sometimes these companies even buy professional model's photos and post them as regular girls.

Some of these better looking women on these sites, the few that are real, get over 300-400 e-mails a week!

Tony, this chnlove.com which caters to China women also has another site Charming date which caters to Ukraine women. When I was in Nikolaev in 2008, I had an independent English speaking guide that my travel agent organized for me as back up if anything went wrong or no-one showed up. I never told the AFA people in Nikolaev about this. This woman, told me how all the agencies worked. The interpreters are on a commission per letter. 50 letters per day. The interpreter must keep the men online and get as many 'punters' as possible onto the same woman. AFA/aslavgirl approached her for work

...AND, It's the interpreter who pays the woman in the profile, not the agency. This is how the AFA people look you in the eye and tell you 'they' don't pay the women for their correspondence.

The fellow below- budrox007, is right on target. With one exception, you do not need to speak the language to be successful, but you do need a good, well trained romance translator you can trust 100%.

And unfortunately you can NOT trust the translators who work for these companies.

Even though you are paying the bill most the time the translators are friends with the girls!!

And they split the loot!

The Interpreter who worked cleverly to scam me was a woman called Yana Braga.

AFA/loveme.com will always make excuses in the Girls/Agency's favor, NEVER the male client. This is the feeling I got anyway.

I'm located in Australia and travelled to Nikolaev in June/July 2008.I never went on a tour/socials but I did spend 45 days in Ukraine. I keep an open mind about what I was doing and I always was cautious, but , even before I left Ukraine to travel home, I had a feeling I'd been scammed and I found out ( by my own research ) that I had been.

Part of the problem is the lack of common sense shown by the guys using the companies.

1.Emails are a scam. Don’t expect to find a girl this way.

2.Do a tour. Yes, some are only after a good time, same as girls in your home town.

3.Learn how to say: HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST? WRITE IT DOWN. (Russian: Scullka eta stow it. Nappi sheet.)

4. If you need a translator it WONT WORK. Learn their language or find one that speaks English.

Concerning the age difference. Not so much the difference being an issue as the maturity of the girl. It's a little different with each culture but most the girls under 25 are just not ready for a serious relationship. They will jerk you around and waste your time.

Both my foreign wives were 20 plus years younger than me and it did not cause a problem.

Just so the woman knows she will outlive the man and she is willing to take that risk.

Too many guys join this service thinking the women in the profiles is the one writing them which I believe is total bullshit. I think Russia has been totally trashed. But the Ukraine is still a good place to go, but stay away from Kiev- It's totally westernized. Stick with smaller cities.

Don't go alone, take a few buddies.

Personally I really like Latinas. They are not complex and the gold diggers and visa vultures are much easier to spot.

What's most important is that you take your time, move very slow and get to know a woman VERY well before you make any serious moves towards marriage.

@asgaard636 This is totally a personal decision. Each of these cultures-Asia, South America, Russia-Ukraine, have subtle differences, and it's the same with the ladies who live there.

The best idea is to simply do a casual pre-emptive strike- just take a vacation to that country find a translator, usually at a local college, and try to meet some of the ladies in public.

A female translator is best, and just go out to the malls or night clubs.

The key here is to move slow, and be real.

However do NOT waste one penny on ANY online paid communication of ANY kind, with ANY company. Especially e-mails or chat. A huge percentage of all that stuff is blatant fraud, meaning the girl in the picture is NOT the person you're communicating with.
