I know a guy who knew another guy who said that after hearing mysterious tales pertaining to the origin of musical talents Mean Mary immediately set out in the innocence of her youth for the crossroads as soon as she could ride a bicycle. As the story went, her guardian angel interceded and was able to trick the devil into letting them pass freely. As luck would have it for the rest of us the angel did however bless her with a divine musical soul so as to spite the devil every time she plays.
