  • I'm a leftie too and finding a good knife has been a nightmare, i'm going to pick this up today!

  • i have the 940 and i have blade play up and down and side to side i tighten the pivot screw and the side to side goes away but then i can barley open my knife, in then the pivot screw loosens in then i'm back to square 1. can u suggest anything for me to do?

  • @XxZeRoGravityxX101 I would loosen the pivot screws up as much as possible without dissembling the knife, then clean and oil the pivot area and washers as much as possible. Then tighten as much as you can while still being able to open the knife well.

If that's not enough, then you will have to disassemble the knife and clean the washers and such well. Make sure you oil it well before resembling. Keep in mind that disassembling the knife voids warranty as far as I know.

  • Also, that strip in on the spine of the handle is anodized titanium.

  • @kaos2468 Okay....that makes sense. Thanks

  • Just got my 940 about a month ago, and i'm in love with this blade! I live in Oregon and went to tour the facility and got it while i was there. It will be one that's in my EDC for a very, very long time.

  • Nice blade tho I don't understand why they have not added some jimping on the flat part on the top of the blade...

  • @lormar73 I guess it wouldn't hurt anything, but for the majority of your use I don't think you'd ever have your thumb that far out on the blade.

  • Awesome video. I especially liked the first minute showing the knife in use. In my experience with spyderco, strider, and zero tolerance s30v they've all chipped around the first inch of the tip. Probably how I use them but I am looking forward to trying benchmade's s30v. My wife is getting me a 940 for my birthday next week so I'm excited.

  • hey nice review looks great in hd!

  • @gavphoenix1 Thanks bro, and yeah, the Audio is sure better!

  • Could you give an exact product and model number. I'm looking for this knife on Amazon.com and am not finding it. Thanks. Good review.

  • @basilweir Thanks man.

And "Benchmade Osborne Axis 940", as said in the review, is the entire product name.
