  • This part of the epically awesome movie made me say this when I'm at the cinamas with my bffs and crush "AWH" lol

  • thumbs up if you wish you could read the books but really your just to lazy

  • THIS NEVER HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MeganMcK4927 yeah and when i saw it in the movie i was like oh come on they're trying to mislead the ones that havent read the book!

  • RavenandSparrow13 - I 150% agree with you on that. I completely understand why you think of that. It seems like there wasn't even really "time" given to make the relationships grow naturally/gradually from the 2 or 3rd book even to give it more of a push behind it...

  • I enjoy the idea of these two getting together, and I know that many of you people are still hooked on Harry and Ginny, and I respect that. For the longest time, I thought those two were great together, but then realize that, well, Ginny was a small, speck like character. She only really came into the plot from books 6/7, and even then, it was tiny. Harry liked Ginny, and Ginny jumped from guys to guys, before jumping to Harry. I like the idea of Harry and Hermione, because she WAS there.

  • @RavenandSparrow13 I always shipped Harry and Hermione too. I like her with Ron and I like him with Ginny, but the idea of Harry and Hermione seemed better to me. That's just my opinion though.

  • Why I´m not english?!?! <:(

  • They are not looking at each like "just friends" do.....no, that's not the look of friendship.....that the look of "I want to tear your clothes off right now!"

  • @lawofjude

What kind of sick, perverted person are you? I am sorry, you are not to blame, it is the world in which you live in, is to blame. A world where the morals and friendship is lost in a tide of revolting sexual desire; lust. I pity you.

  • @LordofPontus Ouch. Who shoved that stick up your butt?

  • @RockerXGurl

Making use of the anonymity of the internet ey Rocker? Throwing insults like a hobbit behind a computer screen..

  • @LordofPontus That was hardly an insult as boorish as the ones you throw--merely a friendly observation. Perhaps you should lay off being so...touchy. Calm down. Take some chill pills. Go eat a bagel.

  • @LordofPontus Oh, and I don't think hobbits know how to use computers :/

    just saying...

  • there's always an awkward stage in friendship where you wonder whether it could be more.

    -Emma Watson

  • hermione is so beautiful man

  • i'm falling in love with this scene <3 <3

  • Lol RTL4?

  • It always seemed to me that there was an element to this pertaining to Harry's and Hermione's bond regarding their upbringing. Even in the alternative world that is the Potter world, this sounds like a muggle song that they've caught on the radio. Hermione's parent's are muggles, Harry was raised by the ever so muggle Dursleys and here they are, without Ron, needing to use as little magic as possible. This scene is very very sweet in that it shows a bond deeper than magic and common goals.

  • i cry at this and i dont know why

  • This is the best scene that wasnt in the book :D in all the harry potter movies <3

  • This moment at the end is a little diffuse, but i took this as nonwanted. The director`s intention was to show the deep friendship, it was Harrys try to help Hermione (and himself too) fighting the lost of Ron. Yates is not my fav potter-director, but this scene was a brillant idea, an Nick Cave`s song fits like it was make for only this event. After all the crazy events, there just two teenagers, alone, in the middle of nowhere, but all their fears & sorrows step back for 2 minutes. amazing!

  • best friends ♥

  • This seen was actually really emotional for me. It still is.

  • what is this song called?

  • Dan is one lucky guy...Emma is awesome. THEY ARE BOTH AWESOME.

  • this songs makes me cry and I don't know why...

  • incredible scene and music. it perfectly captures the love and friendship they have, it adds to the tension and hopelessness but also lifts you up. the people going on about whos with who completely miss everything that harry potter is about. this isnt fucking twilight! try looking a bit deeper sometimes

  • i love HARRY AND HERMIONE TO be A COUPLE

    !

  • my fav scene =3 =3

  • Harry and Hermione FOREVER! They are ONE & ONLY REAL LOVE COUPLE OF HOGWARTS! They should ended up together, cause every main HERO needs the Best & the Hottest Girl, and if that girl is also the main HEROINE, than the combination is perfect! H/Hr F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!!!!!!!!

  • I would be falling in love with Emma right there if I was Daniel. She is so god damn beautiful!!

  • I always like harry and hermione together and ron and luna even through the books even possobly harry and luna! But ahh well its not my book, nor movie

  • while dancing when hermione and harry finished and stared at each other for a while as if they were going to kiss emma mentioned that anything could have happened between them, harry and hermione were going to kiss and was feeling sparks between them but hermione stopped and thought about her love for ron

  • Why do Romione fans think that just because people like Harry and Hermione together that we didn't read the books?! We only LIKE them together..and we are every aware that Hermione ended with Ron at the end...All Romione that say we didn't read the books or watch the movies, you're just being ridiculous...kthxbye.

  • excusemeee... what did you say? you read the bookss....harry and hermione... ron and luna.. neverrr.. i believe you need learn to read....

  • Harry&Hermione always will be my ship... and I'm so proud of them because are all that a OTP should be. They have the best kiss, the best dance, the best chemistry, the best song, the best friendship and the best love. They have it all

  • HERMIONE ♥ RON

  • What song it is..?

  • @brenda81714 o children by nick cave

  • I love their friendship so much. Best brother/sister relationship ever.

  • Ginny was so big in the books! And if u only watch the movies you wouldnt like her. I hated her character bc I always wanted H/Hr but once I read the books, I loved GinnY!

  • whats is de song?

  • Christ, I'd like to dance with her.

  • I wanted Harry And Hermione to be togather :S:S

  • I think that the they people who did the movies really wanted to put Harry and Hermione together, you can see it throughout the films. So if you didn't read the books you would think that they would end up together. I personally think that this is just a way of the people who made the movie be like 'what could have been' because after that they stopped pushing Hermione on Harry.

  • @BirdieWolf15 I always thought of this scene as a way to protray in a film how much Hermione and Harry mean to each other, after all they've been through, as friends.

  • If you don't own anything do you live on the streets

  • I love this song is amazing!!! :)

  • You people amaze me... It's so much sweeter than Harry and Hermione are just friends. There's a strong bond of friendship between these two, but it's only friendship. I think it's perfectly obvious from the way the book describes their relationship. They understand each other, but they are so much alike that they could never be a couple. Ron and Ginny were good for them. I'm glad Harry and Hermione didn't get together.

  • @Jennafu832 agreed, because from the early start, Hermionie's always wanted to find love (In Vicktor/Ron) and Harry's done somewhat the same (Cho/Ginny) and they both realised that their first "dates" were..not exactly what they expected them to be (Vicktor was a bit more braun than brain and Cho was an emotional wreack) so when they both fell in love with their main love interests, they were both with someone else. (Lavander and Seamus) So they've been through a lot together

  • @Jill4ChrisRedfeild When did Ginny like Seamus? Wasn't it Dean Thomas? Am I confused? :)

  • @Jennafu832 ah yes, you're right there, I got a bit confused..haha

  • Respond to this video... and I think Harry sees Hermionie as more of a sister anyway :)

  • @Jennafu832 couldn't have said ti better myself thank you!! :D x

  • This dance wasn't about any "ship" between them, and though it wasn't in the books, I thought it was a great addition. This entire book/movie is so dark and sinister and this was just theirs and ours as the audience's little relief from that.- In the most platonic-but-I-care-about-you-so-much way possible.

  • What's name of sound? please

  • Whats is the name of this song?

  • @milohaus

    O Children ;)

  • @milohaus o children nick cave :)

  • I think Ron and Hermione are better together. He loves her madly. And I love the scene when they're sleeping and Ron's and Hermione's hands are touching-like..Beautiful.

  • i wanna be hermione so badly

  • hey! whats the song title ? i wanna this song!

  • when i was a little i already been watching this .....

i thought that harry and hermione are the lovers here

but im wrong i dont like ron because hermione is a

brilliant person then she will end up on ron ....... i like harry .

but i know we cant change the dicision of the writter ........

  • this is definately the cutest scene. Even if they won't end up together, it shows how good of friends they are :)

  • i am an Hr/R fan , but i realy love this scene.

it shows that Hermione is realy a golden friend but still shows how upset she is with Ron leaving ! Just love the scene !

  • I'm an H/Hr fan but what canon shippers don't understand is

    1. how bad JK wrote the Harry/Ginny relationship in the books. I thought Harry was going to fall for Luna or Hermione.

    2. I refuse to end up with someone like Ron. The whole thing of opposite attracts is kinda cliché. Is a matter of taste I guess

    4. The relationship between Harry and Hermione might not be romantic (JKR wanted it that way) but they had a special connection that they didn't have with their respective significant others

  • @tonks1988 Luna? Luna! Noo. :P Some people confuse good friendships between a male and female for something more than it is so easily. If Luna was a male, you certainly wouldn't read it and think 'ooh is something between them to boys?' No, it's just sometimes people expect it, even though there's nothing there.

Harry and Hermione of course would have a special connection, so did Ron and Harry? Harry and Hermione were like brother and sister, without the sibling rivalry.

  • I love this music!! It's perfect!!

  • name ofthis song?

  • @cowmoo53 O´Childen by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Love them

  • @Ulisexgang thanks

  • I mean, I love them together! Soooo much! But I mean, i think it would be sooo awkward if they were together because he's such a good friend, and I know I hate it when I'm hanging with my guy friends and people say "awww so cute" it's just friends, the best of them of course, but just friends. (:

  • Best scene in Part 1 :D

  • Be aware some movies like the Chronicles of Narnia can get too Hollywood-ified and lose the special meaning that it had from the books. READ THE BOOKS 1ST BEFORE YOU JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS please! I like Hinny still (cuz who can deny a ginger? Haha!) But I also support the awesome friendship Harmony have together

  • Mi esena favorita harian bonitA parejA!!!

  • This is the cutest thing :)))))) i love them soo much :DDDD

  • This scene is just so lame. Kloves and Yates just couldn't get over their Hamony fantasy so they turned Hermione into a Mary Sue and Harry into a loser who would seriously contemplate betraying Ron. And for some reason, Emma and Dan -- who should have known better, bought into this nonsense. Hopefully the Harmony distraction will be totally put behind us for DH 2. Although I am sure Hermione will still be a Mary Sue.

  • @DocOc61 umm... WTF r u talking about???

And to all u idiots who keep sayin well I don't dance wit my brother like that! Umm duh.. NOBODY DOES! But me n my BEST FRIEND do stuff like this all the time, and we've never been romantically involved and we never want to. Gosh, grow up ppl.

  • @marimari1721 and before

  • @marimari1721 I was really surprised that he didn't fall for her in this movie, she was fantastic.

  • I´m only to say this: That is NOT how you dance with your sister! ; )

  • @katakali I have a brother, and I have never danced with him LIKE THAT. I danced with him yes, but not like that. We just mostly swing dance at a distance.

  • @katakali But that's how you dance with your BEST FRIEND...Yeah sure, if I'm sad my best friend would dance with me like that, and he has a girlfriend since a long time and he loves her. So, it's really realistic. :)

  • I LOVE IT <3

  • beautiful!!!

  • They share an amazing brother/sister love.

  • @star1072 read/watch the interviews from both actors. harry and hermione wanted to kiss each other in this moment. that is not brother/sister love.

  • The song is called O' Children and is sang by Nick Cave.

  • i always knew that ron and hermione end up together, but dan and emma have so much chemistry that people want hermione and harry to be together! I still love harry and hermione's friendship! ♥

  • belissimo!

  • I hope u know that Ron left in tht part and Hermione is REALLY sad so Harry tries to comfort her!!!

  • @jazzybenigno You need to learn to differentiate between the book characters and the actors who portray them.

  • Does this dance have a name? Links?

  • It's really magic moment in a film, but i think it's the only reason why lot of people think they could be nice couple... In a book it's clear that Hermione could be and will be with Ron and it's better, JKR did it really well

  • @SowiczZz actually i read the books way before i saw the movies and thought the books made it clear that Harry would end up with Hermione and Ron with Luna. I was shocked when Ginny (who was so little of a character, i could never remember who she was) ended up with the hero and Hermione ended up with someone who was a complete and total ass face to her for 90 percent of the books.

  • @FootSoldier66 Your right give or take a percent or two. I mean Hermione has brains does she really want to spend the rest of her life cleaning up after a man who only eats and sleeps?

  • @FootSoldier66 I agree. While I read the books, I believed it was obviously going to end with Harry/Hermione. I saw so many hints for it and assumed any crush with Ron just a school girl infatuation. For 90% of the books, Ron really was a "total ass face" to her. Apparently that means she's going to have his children. Ginny, really seemed to hold no large significance in the book, so that was a shock. Then in the movies, Dan and Emma had chemistry, while Dan and Bonnie had NONE. No spark.

  • @kiss1sweet20 See, I don't think they had any chemistry together whatsoever. The way they look at each other doesn't exude passion and sexuality nearly as much as it exudes loyalty and kindness. There's zip chemistry between them, although they are the best of friends. They have an innocent and uncomplicated love for each other, but it's definitely a friendly love. I see them as siblings, of a sort, because both of them share a strong connection to the muggle world.

  • @FootSoldier66 How did you ever get, from the books, that Harry and Hermione would end up together? I mean, the whole thing with Ron has just always been so evident...

  • @mah0209 Agreed. I thought it was very evident in the fourth that Ron was completely jealous of Hermione being with Krum, and from then, i've seen other hints that the movies dont show. I love Hermione and Ron :)

  • Guys. This dance did have a significant meaning other than showing their being friends. With Ron gone and them being unsuccessful with the horcruxes, This was a way of Harry saying "I know this sucks, but please don't give up on me."

  • @Imapatheticbanana this song is a little sad to me

  • @FootSoldier66 the books made it absolutely cleat that harry would end up with ginny dont u remember she always liked him? harry and hermione loved each other as FRIENDS. From the 4rth book hermione/ron was clear! and i dont see why luna would end up with ron. they never had something. u should read the books again.

  • @FootSoldier66 Harry and Hermione are equally mature which means they would have probably ended up together earlier in the books. If Harry and Hermione were meant to be he would have never let her go on the quest to find horcruxes and without Hermione they wouldn't last two days. Ron and Hermione complete each other, Ron is an ass to her because he isn't sure about his feelings.

  • @FootSoldier66 Wow. Clearly you didn't read the books too well. In the books Harry and Ginny had good chemistry and Ron was not a complete ass, just blind to Hermione's feelings for him and afraid to express his own. And if you couldn't remember who Ginny was while reading, then you must have very short term memory. I'm sorry if I sound snappy but I think you're very wrong.

  • @FootSoldier66 Your lying. No way you read the books and thought it would be Harry and Hermione... Re-read Goblet of Fire and Half-Blood Prince.

  • @FootSoldier66 the heart wants what it wants

  • @FootSoldier66 Um, are you sure you read the books? I don't mean to sound rude but there was NEVER any indication that Harry and Hermione would end up together in a romantic way. It always came across that Harry's feelings for Hermione were strictly brotherly as well as her feelings toward him were purely sisterly and even motherly at times. How could you not remember Ginny's character? The whole Ron/Luna thing, well that's just so ridiculous!

  • @FootSoldier66 Obiously you didn't read the books. In the end of the 7th one in 19 year later. It CLEARLY says harry and ginny get married. Along with Hermoine and Ron.

  • @FootSoldier66 How? You need to reread those books, dear, because Ginny was a pretty significant character after Chamber of Secrets when you really take it in. Why would Ron be with Luna? Luna was a significant character like Ginny, but not exactly overwhemlingly so. Ron thought she was crazy more than half the time. And if you never remembered Ginny, you must have a shockingly short memory. And Ron was a jerk because he didn't associate with his emotions much. They're perfect for each other.

  • @kellythecrayon my opinion^^ harry does not need a gril like hermione. remember how often they fight and have arguements, because of harrys book (half-blood prince), because harry does not know how to survive the trounement (goblet of fire), because of sirius (since the third book)^^ they are the very best friends, but not a couple ;)

  • @MissNewBorn Hahaha, I know they wouldn't make a good couple, they're supposed to be absolutely best friends. :) When did I say that they should be together? Hahaha, because if I did, I mis-typed. I meant Ron and Hermione are perfect together and so are Harry and Ginny. I realize they fought a lot, because they both are strong hearted and determined characters, who stand by what they say. :) Just Hermione is very logical and Harry is very intuitive, they clash there a lot.

  • @kellythecrayon i wasn't serious. i was just making the point that ginny was such a small speck of a character that she was hardly memorable. i don't need to reread them. i've read them all a ton of times and as a newspaper editor, believe me, i catch and remember everything.

  • @FootSoldier66 Gotcha.

  • @FootSoldier66 Whaa? You musn't have paid attention at all. It was clear as day who was going to end up with who. Did you think Malfoy was gonna end up with Hagrid too? lolololol

  • @ImTellingOnYoo so you enjoyed the fact that from your end it was entirely predictable? sounds pretty boring to me.

  • I can't remember exactly when I had my suspicions but at the Yule Ball I knew for sure Hermione & Ron were going to end up together. That's why they argued so much as they were too stubborn to admit it and they were furiously jealous of each other and sometimes were nasty because of it.

With Harry and Ginny; I think after Harry smelled Ginny's scent in the Love Potion in Slughorn's first lesson it was blindingly obvious it was going to go down that road. Hermione also smelled Ron.

    @FootSoldier66

  • I didn't think it was boring at all when you finally knew who was going to end up with who and there was still the whole main story to look forward to. Why on earth would anyone want Ron to end up with Luna? And I really don't see how you thought that and were totally oblivious to the Ron&Hermy thing. Well it's good the books kept you guessing, it's a lot more fun that way I have to admit :D

  • @FootSoldier66 a lot times people who hate each other suddenly realize they have a weak spot for each other. it's two ends of the spectrum. first it was passionate hate, now the opposite :P.

And yeah, I thought this scene made it obvious how important friendship is too, not just bf-gf relationships. They're just "having fun" with each other, what little precious time they have for that during those dark times.

  • @iluvanimexanimals

I agree with you. Definitely more of a development, relationship wise between them then Ron and Hermione.

  • @iluvanimexanimals Absolutely not. :D

  • @iris1412 why not? I know you have your opinion but I'm just curious

  • @iluvanimexanimals Sorry, I'm too long ^^' -> But besides, Harry & Hermione make me think of me and my best friend who's a boy ... This kind of relationship is such a solid and strong friendship ! I'm sorry, I'm not very convincing.. ;) But this is how I feel things ;) What about you ? Why do you think Hermione would be better with Harry ? :)

  • @iris1412 I think Harry has a lot more chemistry with Hermione. They're always there for each other and I think Ron yes it's obvious that he loves her but he's too stubborn to admit it Plus he left his friends even while Hermione was begging him to stay

  • @iris1412 Don't worry, I'm not taking it bad. ;) Well, I can't really explain but... This is maybe because I've been sure they'd end up together since the beginning.. ^^' Actually I think that the relationship between Hermione and Ron is far more moving than Harry & Hermione's. You know, you've understoden since the fourth book than Hermione had feelings for Ron and since then they're quite awkward and so on... And .. yeah.. I'm too romantic, actually.. :D I find that it's a nice love story..->

  • @iluvanimexanimals 100% Agree.

  • @iluvanimexanimals but this scene wasn't about harry and hermione as a couple, it was showing how close friends they are, hence the goofy dancing :)

  • You guys this video has 425 likes! Who cares about anyone who didn't like it? This is an awesome scene and I like it!

  • what is the name of this song?

  • @HalfDemonZahara

    O Children

  • my birthday is JULY 31st!!!! when i was younger i used to get teased and stuff now when i tell people they think it cool to have the same bday as harry potter

  • Also, trains are really significant to Jo, because her parents met on a train, AND Harry Potter came to her on a train (that's a lovely story; if you haven't heard it, go look it up). AND, in Deathly Hallows, when Harry dies (if you didn't know that by know you are a git), he goes to King's Cross and speaks with Dumbledore. He could have chosen to "board a train", but he chooses to go back, for love.

  • "Hey little train! Wait for me!

I was held in chains but now I'm free....

Hey little train! We are all jumping on

The train that goes to the Kingdom

We're happy, Ma, we're having fun

    It's beyond my wildest expectation"

The imagery of the train is perfect. When Harry gets on the Express it's like the start of his life. Hogwarts is his home; it frees him from the Dursleys & shows him the life he was meant to have. It opens his eyes to happiness, friendship, magic, and love (like it did mine).

  • This scene is perfect! I have a friend who is a girl who I would basically die for but I have no romantic feelings for whatsoever. I think that a guy and a girl can have a very strong emotional connection that's not romantic. This is a perfect example, there's a feeling of sadness and tension and Harry breaks it by starting to dance with hermione. You saw the look they gave each other at the end in the movie, I knew they wouldn't kiss.

  • If you ask me who I prefer, my answer would be: Read the books. It is written clearly. If you don't want to read the books, then read the epilogue :D LOL

  • Nick Cave!

  • It's always nice to know that two friends dancing together means they're obviously going to be in love with each other and have a relationship.

Looks like I have a lot of explaining to do to my fiance for dancing with one of our friends now, don't I?

  • @unsweeteneddoll Some people know that it's a dance between friends, but if you were a fan of Harry/hermione anyway, then this dance would be some small kind of proof that they had feelings together?

  • @KahlanPendragon Two people dancing together means they have feelings for each other? Then I have a lot to explain to my fiance about dancing with a male friend of mine.

  • @unsweeteneddoll I have already stated that two people dancing together can mean friends, but it depends if your a Harry/Hermione fan or a Ron/Hermione fan then your interpretation will obviously be different for this scene.

  • @oblviousnesssucks1 Go Harry/Hermione? LOL! They never even left the starting gate!

  • @oblviousnesssucks1 Are you referring to the passage on pg 647? How in the world do you equate that with "I love you because you're a hero?"

  • @oblviousnesssucks1 You do realize that was when she was 11, don't you? There is nothing about her expressing that sentiment after that in any of the books.

  • i think that harry and hermione make more sense as a couple in the movies then in the books. theres just not enough time to really develop side relationships not directly intwined with the story

  • Ron made 9 accounts to dislike this :(

  • @lollypopgirl14

I don't think Ron would dislike it, because it's pretty obvious to me that Harry and Hermione are like brother and sister.

  • This is an amazing scene that's perfectly executed. I -3 it :)

  • I love it

  • I still don't understand how these two didn't end up together in the end...I think that was the biggest let down of the series

  • @dingopee Yes, it was odd, wasn't it, that Harry didn't wind up with a girl to whom he wasn't attracted, didn't appreciate his sense of humor, didn't make him laugh, and exhibited no reaction to other guys being interested in her or her being attracted to other guys.

  • @dingopee

That's just sad. Harry Potter isn't all about romance, you know.

  • wht does it be the name of the song??? TNKS!! :-)

  • @LoukasJ O Children by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. It's an eerie song when you listen to it :/

  • I think this is a really cute scene, I think it just shows their friendsh
