@Talz1803 no full layering system in the gfree version. The full version has more, but no opaque layers. Tons of effect layers though. The free version has an alternate image buffer which can act one layer for blending with the main image buffer
Can you tell me or make a video on how to download dogwaffle properly? Cuz i can't,i download it and stuff but it dosn't show up in my documents, star button,or an icon for my desktop soooo yeah, but i'd like a video on how to do it please,if you can
Can you please tell me how to download thuis properly or make a video? Cuz i'm having trouble downloading it,and my sister is 18 and she's a techy or tecy how ever you spell it,tecky whatever, but i have to wait until my sister gets home at 11:14 or she might come home at 1:30 in the morning, but my mom and sister have to work, and if i stay up then i'll get in trouble,so i'm wondering hw\ow you download it
@lovebitesolo The Grass is done with particle brushes, aka Optipustics (Optical Octopuss) where you draw one brush stroke but it shoots particles from the cursor that can change color vs. a gradient, change opacity, be subject to gravity, split and do other things that particles do. It's even better in thebest3ddotcomslashpdp which is PD Particles
@staigerman You can find the Optipustics particle brushes (and also Bristle brushes) in the Window menu, or use keyboard shortcut 'i' (the i stands for incredibly addictive - you've been warned LOL). In PD Pro there's also an option for shrinking lines, and for using an image-based forcefield to affect the particle paths. The particles can carry a single-frame brush, custom brush, animated brush, effects brushes (like smearing)... and can be used to paint animated waterfalls and fireworks too
Hi, good question. This is NOT only an image editor. In fact it is more a paint program, PLUS it does allow you to paint over a sequence of images, and do all sorts of things across such frames, thus create an animation. The Pro version 3 and 4 have some great features beyond the free version but here's already some examples from the fre version:
well yes of course, it's a raster image you're creating and seeing there, save it to the Clipboard and on to other apps (got AnimeStudio?) or save to Png, Targa, Jpeg, Bmp and Tiff...)
About the text: You can use the text tol for 'normal' use, and place text over the existing image. Or, you can render the text into the selection mask (called the Alpha channel). In the freeware 1.2 version you can't do this directly, but in 2 steps: clear the image (after storing a snapshot of it) or switch to the alternate image buffer, called the Swap buffer (shortcut: 'j' to jump). Then Render the text in Black on white or white on black. Then use Buffer>Copy Swap to Alpha, etc... for more
Beautiful work! Bravo!

(re: I wanna do this...) I hope you're not talking about jumping off a cliff LOL
If you think the freeware version is amazing, you're gonna need a whole new vocabulary of accolades for the Pro versions and the latest PD Howler.
