I like the comment the announcer makes about stability... I don't think many people realize that most of these fighters are pretty smooth, solid skaters. You have to be in order to keep your balance. Tie Domi is a great example- he was an enforcer, but he was a great skater. Really stable and pretty fast too.

I wasn't a full-time enforcer, but I have been in a lot of fights in my day, and believe me, being a good skater has a lot to do with keeping your balance in a fight. Newsflash: Tie Domi WAS a great skater. I watched him for several years with the Maple Leafs, and skating is also what made him a great body-checker.
