How often, or even any, does a pc user get a virus? Only noobs get viruses (no offense) and even if you do, you can fix it right away with almost any program and its also free.

lol. never gotten a virus before becuz im not a total retard. ive fixed PC's for ppl who had gotten "viruses" and it always turns out to be a lack of hardware capabilities. (old PC's with 20GB HDD and 128MB RAM that are filled with stupid shovelware to their capacity. My point wasn't that Macs get viruses. I know for a fact its virtually impossible (unless you try) to get a virus on a mac at this point in time. But what this quote shows is that if everybody switches over to macs there will be a greater chance of getting a virus on a Mac then on a PC.

I see it as a bit ironic; Apple tries to convince everyone to get a Mac because they don't get viruses but if too many people buy macs there goes Macs biggest selling point

I don't mind Macs however, their fans are normally very biased and may be computer illiterate. From what I've noticed, they are willing to yell out false information just to win an argument. I've owned both a mac and PC and they are both good for what I use them for. Most of the problems which make a PC "Bad" normally don't happen at all or occur rarely. Both the Mac and PC have their advantages and disadvantages in terms of hardware & software.

I'm a MAC. I'm editing a movie, recording my guitar w/ pro tools and surfing the net all on my very own and at the same time. Good luck trying to get pro tools or any recording software to run efficiently on a pc without it crashing. Let alone with any other programs running.
