Yep some history for the young whippersnappers out there. Before the early 1990's there was virtually no such thing as 24hr TV, excepting HBO (which was just ONE channel back then) and some other premium cable stuff. From about 2 or 3AM to 6 or 7 AM more or less, all you had was radio or a good book to keep you entertained

I Remember that News theme. It came out in 1998 and ended in 2004, i think...

@Articunoboy12 its not that that freaks me out, its more the music. words like studio microwave transmitter creep me out, i don't know why haha, they are just words that make me feel weird. its a strange thing. channel 13 {this one} is my local new btw. im sorry im so weird, im really not the average person. i focus life on one thing only... ♥NASCAR♥

Albeit not for long by the looks of it - if they are signing off at 4AM they are probably back on at 6AM.

The sign-on posting for the station has 04:58 am on the clock, so less than an hour off air.
