@bigcasey1995 they will only sell as well as u can sell them, but yes they can be used as street signs. the corrugated plastic signs often come with metal stakes u can insert so it sticks in the ground. also, some vinyl lasts longer than others, so of course the cheaper stuff will wear out faster
@4dCalPal it all depends, rly - if u have a lot of money to invest in machines u may be able to make good off of mass-producing if u get enuf steady clients. if ur small-time or freelance, then it all depends on how well u can sell the artistic side of it since it takes longer to produce less...
somebody keeps putting signs up like that on our road talking about home financing they cut real nice with a knife lol its like spam for the real world lol i was thinkin of buying a cutter i found a big one for 400 bux
Sorry Pinkbunnyjrocker...Hands are faster...I had a new apple help one day cause we were busy...I had him 10:1...Had to finish his pile.....Told him to go get lunch cause he was slowing us down....Keep using your hand then come back with applicator...
We agree gotshirtsto2ink....I was taught that when I was about 6....Dont be shy to use the tape...slide over so you have more room...then you can turn the page like a book and pull from the release liner....Another, yes "Gotshirts" USE YOUR HAND much faster....Their are alot more tricks I learned in the past 24 years but some you have to keep to yourself....
When you cut the letters out of vinyl, why not make the bounding box the same size as the correx? There's no need for the 5 minutes of measuring at the beginning. I appreciate everyone has their own methods but thats sign making 101. I agree with 'gotshirts2ink' with regard to the release liner.
@Stravoverchi i hear what ur saying, but i believe in conserving vinyl, so i'd rather spend time measuring than to waste all those inches of margin space just so i can line it up faster... i may be a novice, & idk what u mean by "release liner" - i lay vinyl the way i was taught & it works for me & the results are good, so i can't be doing it all wrong...
what i boring .......!

@khanasohrab i'm not sure what u mean, but... thanks?

You got alot to learn still. One use a squegee to lay down the vinyl Not Your Hand. Also pull from the release liner not the transfer tap
gotshirts2ink 1 year ago
@gotshirts2ink i like using my hand to smooth the vinyl, squeegees make too many wrinkles... everyone has their own technique
