Whewn I listened JL for the first time I found him too strange, but listening several times I appreciate him and now I like him very much. He his so expressive and different from others controtenori.

I heard him jump in as Nerone in Düsseldorf, and was totally bowled over: and in the house, his voice is HUGE -- naturally, the top more so than the middle, but he can really project when he wants to. And he acts, has charisma, is wildly sexy and a little crazy as Nerone -- everything one wants in a STAR!!
