When I took economics in school and learn how our economy worked I realize years later what evil things Bush and company had done and still doing so to our great USA. I just confuse how the word conservative got attach to Rep party. Bush spent more money and lost more jobs than all the presidents combine. The Dems controlled both Houses from Jan 2007 to Jan 2011, but Republicans controlled both Houses for most of Bush's presidency, and while the Dems do still control the Senate (by a very slim majority), the Republicans control the House. So no, actually, the Democrats do not currently control both Houses. Before you insult others, perhaps you should get your facts straight. It took decades to destroy the economy. well said, indeed, I got the scissors to the string factories right here! However not everybody thinks outside the box = realizes presidents are puppets. People still believe the system (illusion) is filled with true checks & balances. Hopefully that paradygm is breaking down, it may get bad but hopefully it will all be for the best.
