@legomovieman94 According to the game's Tropes page, it's supposed to make it sound as though you're listening from another world. Though I do see how it can get annoying.

Im replaying Baten Kaitos starting...today! Im finding it incredibly annoying how much weaker Kalas is. Xelha has so many good attack cards there isn't enough room for them in her deck, while Im filling up Kalas's with Young Bamboos and the like.

getting used to the battle system was annoying but I like the game, after beating on the sabre dragon a bit I ended up healing him with a banana and the battle was dragged out too much XD.

I think Baten Kaitos is the biggest influence on the book I'm writing. The main character is a criminal, and there are wings involved. The wings are sort of special, though. :O

you toke my idea but anyway I went back to this game and I missed relay combos and stuff but when you do a sunrise or sunset on a boss it gives you that senze of joy
