@TheProstatakrebs Cheers man! No not at all, i've had a few guitars without inlays and it's not at all. Because you still have the dots on the top of the neck it isn't a problem.

707 is like the EMG 85 in that it is a neck pickup and has more bassy like tones. I have a 707 in my C-7 Hellraiser and an EMG 81 in my LTD 417 - 7 string. If you do the 18 volt mod on the 81 it will bring up the bottom end alot and give it alot more tone to work with. I like them both but it is personal taste. I am not sure how the 18 volt mod would affect the 707 but you can try it out and let me know? Great cover also.

@KODFISHdaBAWSS Yeh i'd definately recommend it. I very much doubt i'll buy a 6 string again after owning this. Once i get the bridge pickup swapped i think it'll be amazing. Great for the price!

@maffhewATBF listen to impending dooms new album there will be violence and you can hear the tone of the 81-7 in the bridge because that is what they are using. On their old album they used a 707 in the bridge, but your choice I just hate to see someone else go through what i did to find the right tone and waste lots of money along the way.

@Limitless77 Thanks alot! I don't think the stock ones are as bad as everyone makes out.! Planning on getting an EMG 81-7 or 707 for the bridge!

@maffhewATBF I would go with the emg 81-7 in the bridge and a 707 in the neck DONT GO WITH THE SEYMOUR DUNCAN BLACKOUTS they are WAY overrated if you want the blackout tone but MUCH better, then do the 18 volt mod with the emg 81-7 if you dont like it you can unplug it and go back to the regular 81-7 tone. I have owned them all and the bareknuckles and lundgrens dimarzio's passive sd's go with the emg 81-7 you wont be sorry + u can get that open tone with the 18volt mod so 2 BADASS pickups inone
