  • can't the points be added automatically. Seems to be abit out of date. I've seen more powerful opensource solutions

  • @bartandrew This video is 2 years old. Check out the current Project Photofly on the Autodesk Labs site.

  • Thank you to open my eye. No doubt you are a pro.

movie with audio is on this page

  • @Vailfear You should check out Project Photofly available on Autodesk Labs for free.

  • Don`t you think, that manual setting of corresponding points and placing of 3D primitives is a too tough way? AgiSoft PhotoScan agisoft.ru/products/photoscan/ automatically creates 3D model from photos. You can export your model in a number of formats to use it in other programs.

  • Hello, Nice video. I know this is a bit off topic but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is any way to create a sketched image from a picture. What I'm trying to do is create a sketch of my companies' parking lot (parking spaces, Lighting, and landscape) from a Google Earth snapshot? Doesn't have to be 3D just a 1 dimension birds eye view, black and white or color, doesn't matter.

Any suggestion of a program /software that will allow me to do this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • @Croket71 You can use draw dot labs dot autodesk dot com. Load the image. Draw over the top. Delete the image.

  • You should try the 3D modeling software from Visualsize Inc. Their 3D products can build 3D models and panorama images using photos from consumer-market digital cameras/phones/camcorders, without the need of special equipment, elaborate set-up, advanced calibration, man-made markers, artificial lighting, user training, or manual intervention.

  • audio?

  • I use maya 2011 what software is this.

  • @Rainman4084 The title said Autodesk ImageModeler isn't it?

  • Pfff, this program sucks, they say he

calculates it all by himself... NOT! You

have to do almost everything for the

computer in order for it to understand.

    This is extremely dissapointing.

    Thumbs down guys, sorry.

  • @Ruttie2

Autodesk software was and is high end and industrial standard. you don't understand it, so it must be shit... lol fail. I guess you can do shit with your computer...

for us professionals, this is some excellent software.

  • @realcatgirllover No, what i mean is that the photogrammetric

computer calculations are NEVER 100% accurate. I learned

using mudbox by autodesk and it indeed is the best software i

    ever used :D

  • @realcatgirllover you can do this is sketchup.. kinda.. lol ;)

  • i mean lyk amazing the way u did that i think i wud give up after about 5 mins lol but FUCK ME MANN NICE HOUSE

  • @SpecialKayC Yea, he bought the house with the money he made selling this shitty expensive software

  • Уверен, кривой получился дом.

  • How do you inset the edge of the cubes face to creae the garden wall at 1:35min of the video. I cant work out how to do this in image modeler. Thanks

  • this is very easy compared to other progs as maya and 3dsmax

  • WOW! AMAZING!

  • amazing!

  • well of course it looks complicated - its autodesk, but oce you get used to it it's really cool

  • handmade anyway :(

  • wow can't believe it, it's really awesome, but seems like 1800 hours of practice...

  • wow, looks complicated :S

  • nice
