And why don't you become human at one of the bonfires so you can summon companions? I believe they could definately shorten some boss battles

@OhareLife bosses actually get a TON more HP if you summon help. They are definitely easier with more people, but not necessarily quicker.

@AttackMyAss when you step on and off, it enables the shortcut. you can't take the short cut until you ride on it, or activate it to go down without going down yourself.

@gotohemp I believe one of the knights has to close it first. if you are fast enough you can run trough before he does.

@coolcapt1 when he went behind dragon and lifted that big gate the other one opens to but if u dont go fast the undead will close it again and u lose ur chance ( cuz u can lift it only once)

@urbanpwnerishere He picked the Master Key as his gift, and that can open the door. It's a huge timesaver.

IMO, it might've been worth it to do the bottomless box glitch on a main character first to get a good weapon and some extra souls/humanity to make the fights go by quicker, but that's just my opinion.

Lautrec automaticly frees himself when you kill gargoyles. No matter what you do.

End to make suggestions about glitches etc. When someone can play better then you, it doesn't means that he's cheater.

@MrGrizzzlik He can actually technically free himself before killing gargoyles, if you go down into blighttown. He will free himself and kill the fire keeper, I don't know what exactly triggers it but I believe its either picking up the Fire Keeper Soul that's down there or getting to the swamp area.

@U2Kent It can be Running past the dragon, or, more than likely, going early to blighttown via master key shortcut (Skipping Capra demon and Gaping Dragon and their areas.
