I play select softball for Batbusters. I used to be a catcher. Now I am a pitcher and one of the top in Texas. It's not all about speed. I have a change up & that's my #1 pitch. I am 13 & pitch around 56mph. I can also hit, as I am 4th in the line up. (: I hope to make it to collage.

Very nice Abbey!! Way to go! I wish my daughter was pitching like this whe nshe was 9. And no mudpie your wrong. The grunt comes at the end of the exhale which is when the ball has left the pitcher. As pitchers progress they make it earlier but usually lose speed because of it.

dont graunt you will get called on it you should not grunt unless a coach tells you it could mess up your pitching

wow I was faster when I was a 9 year old, there was no need for a grunt for me, you don't need to grunt either, ok pitching though
