In a little more than 2 months they made their way to Abilene Texas. I was 16 and was told if it went not to come back home. No brainer for the righteous. My babe Tammy and I made our way over and my life was never the same. Moved out and joined the AF less than a year later. I am now a licensed Funeral Director (Yeah, Kinda Weird I Know) and never looked back. If they had not made their way to West Texas I wonder how my life would have turned out.
