Agreed sir. I just got my 2012 tC and I love it. I could have gotten a more expensive car, but for the price, performance and the sleek look, I'm happy with my purchase. It's has good performance with good gas mileage. Maybe in the next year or so I can look into modding it. It looks like these Scions are solid cars or a starter kit to something even better for car enthusiasts.

@WhiteViper254 Hey bro, the car in this video belongs to Chris Rado of World Racing. The car was lowered with a set of test springs before coil overs were available and the wheels are made by HRE but I'm not sure how much they spent. However, if you're on a budget, HRE wheels wouldn't be the best brand as they are relatively pricey. Instead, you should consider a set of FIVE:AD wheels. Good luck with your mods!

In the tC's defence, the car only costs 20K and the turbo kit retails for $4,500 (but they make the kit so their cost is much less) and they are able to acheive 300+ horses to the wheel. This tC will spank the STI in a straight line and you have money left over to do custom suspension. I think this platform is a very feasible option for those looking for cheap power.

Rear wing+FWD car+downforce in the rear= better weight distribution and stability at speed...not useless if it's done right, for a purpose, and not just for looks

@charli3bih Your car currently has a transverse mounted 2AZFE. The 2jz is mounted Longitudinally and will require heavy modification. If you have $80,000 or so then it's definitely feasible, but if you don't, just stick with a Turbo Kit from Descendant/World Racing. You're expected to see an 100+ hp gain with very modest tuning for a lot less money.
