Wow great video again, don't see what "modern" steam engines are. Liked it very much that you have edited the interior and exterior shots in such manner that the viewer gets the impression of a whole ride. No need to appologize for the non-consistency of the footage, you made enough efforts with this nice editting. Seeing the locos change in colour gives an impression of more locos than just one (look the same to me??) and gives the video also a bit of a LOL-character. Thanks for uploading!

Modern steam means a fully new engine and boiler performance, according to the things found by Chapelon and Porta and his wizards apprentice David Wardale.

Modern enough to be better than a diesel engine of the same age and power.

At schafberg a series of five modern locomotives are in service, that's why they have different colors (2 black, 2 red and one green)

Running uphill with double load and double speed of the old steamer they got - awesome

Thanks for the compliment. I tried my best, I only started for some weeks with filming (as can be seen on the video) and did not find the time to take footage of the interior and exterior of the same locos so there is some kind of Harry Potter/Chameleon effect in the vid. By the way it seems that Holland gets some modern steam in the near future also, on the DLM website is a press statement that a new museum line has rented the 52 8055 NG for a period of 4 years. Please keep posting your vids!!!
